Super clean... one of my first and main requisites for good establishment!Friendly people. We ordered Shrimp basket, Catfish basket and chicken wrap (choice of grilled roasted or fried) There was so much I couldn't finish and all tasted great. Next time I will get half order of fries if they let me. Cole slaw was just right. Nothing was greasy, fried to perfection.

This is one of our weekly go-to restaurants. They serve a wide range of food but their burgers are classic. I like to have a burger loaded and an order of haystack onions. Their spicy curly fries are excellent. My lady usually goes for a chicken dish and they are always good. I've had their catfish and they were also done well. Their crushed ice for your drink is wonderful!If you want a good meal in a clean place with staff who takes good care of you, this is the place to go.

Ate here on September 1, 2019 around noon. There isn't any signage to tell you you should go to the counter to order first, then have a seat, so I agree with a previous review; they need to update the space to make it more clear. I was lucky that I was with someone that had been here previously or else I would have been a little lost too. The service was good and the food was quick and hot. I got a grilled cheese and cheese tots. He tots were a little over cooked and with the cheese they stuck to the paper that lined the paper tray. The grilled cheese came with sliced hamburger pickles. I was in disbelief at first when my friend said I should really try the grilled cheese with the pickles. I put them on my grilled cheese and was pleasantly surprised. It was actually quite tasty! I think this place could use a face lift and a deep cleaning, but again, the food was hot, came out quick, and the service was good. They do cater mostly to the geriatric crowd, so there's a good chance you won't get a window seat when you come here. Go straight to the counter to order first, then seat yourself. They'll bring the food to you. You can also go to the little refrigerator area and pick whatever condiments you want yourself. I like they they keep them cold and the bottles are big. You can get as much as you want and you aren't charged extra. That was nice. There's also a bait and tackle shop attached to this restaurant. See my pics. As far as the restaurant, I'd eat here again if I was in the area.

A must stop when at the lake!! Food and service is always amazing!!! Whether getting an order to go or dining in, you won't be disappointed!! Food is always made to order!!

Food is good but it takes awhile to get your order. Great views of the lake and pretty friendly service

Not a bad place to go if you are in the Area. Serviceable Burgers. Really good sides. My family got the cheese fries and the haystack. Fried onions and jalapeños. Really good. Just a note. When you go in, seat yourself. Order at the cash register. They will just let you sit at your table and look stupid. Burgers, fish sandwich, French fries... all pretty good!

Basic burgers with a nice view of the spillway. I recommend the Haystack Burger. A nice thick meat patty buried under a haystack of crispy fried shoestring onions. My new favorite hamburger! This is a lakeside cafe that also sells t-shirts, fishing gear, camping gear and even live bait. They just remodeled 2022 and it is clean and comfortable. Grab a booth by the windows, or if the weather is nice you should order to go and have a picnic by the lake.
