ZERO STARS!!! I worked for this company from 8/5/24 to 12/23/24. I quit this job due to no PTO being available to the employees and the office being closed from 12/24/24 to 12/27/24 with only 12/25/24 being paid. I was due to be paid my last check on 1/5/25. I never received my check through direct deposit so I assumed I would receive a paper check. I reached out to Dr. Barton's husband Wayne as he is the one who handled payroll. He responded that a detailed paystub was mailed to my address. Because I still had access to my Workforce account I decided to view through the app. I worked 42 hours for my last check after taxes took $141. I was owed $610, Wayne decided because I did not give a proper 2 weeks notice that he would take the rest of my check. It is 1/6/25 and I reached out to see why he would take my full check . He states that it's because I did not return 2 pair of scrubs that he purchased for me, a key card, and as he states "my mother purchased glass from his office that he is holding me responsible for, though she is the only responsible party on her account." I am 26 years old and live on my own which means I still have bills and responsibilities and he thinks it's okay to take my rightfully earned wages because he doesn't like the way I quit. I had informed him that I am more then happy to return the scrubs and key card though I wasn't informed to return them before hand. He states that they were to be returned before payroll in order to not be charged. I was not told this prior. I have reached out to the department of labor and wages about this matter. But I felt it was my responsibility to let you know the type of establishment you all are supporting.

Dr. Barton and Staff, are GREAT!! Her thoroughness is above any I've experienced. She not only checks your eyesight but the condition of your eyes which can detect other health conditions. You will never feel rushed or a number, they treat you like your family not a patient. She is wonderful with my children and even the husband has finally gone to the eye doctor after years and it was a great experience for him. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend The Eye Studio and Dr. Barton. She examined my eyes and it was the most thorough exam I have experienced. Very detailed. Her staff is quite polite and eager to help.

Dr. Barton was so incredible. She was diligent, and truly proved that she cared, which is not something I can't say about most. During my appointment, she did a full check-up. As someone who has suffered a few head injuries, I am extremely light-sensitive, prone to massive headaches, and I have trouble focusing from all different distances. She noted all of my issues, and gave me solutions. My new prescription has worked wonders. I have only had the lens for only about 3 weeks now, and already I've noticed a dramatic decrease in headaches and my eyes are focusing with ease.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was amazed by the diverse selection of frames. I will definitely be making this my one and only destination for all my eye care needs.

I have bought glasses from The Eye Studio repeatedly and have found the staff to be extremely competent and friendly. I love their wide variety of frames and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable optometrist.
