Super adorable event space with plenty of space and amenities. The wedding was held outside, then a cocktail hour out on the deck, followed by dinner inside, an outdoor dance floor and finished the night off with a dessert truck!!!

Wedding venue was so beautiful! Please see pics attached. My aunt said they were able to save thousands of dollars by switching from Sat afternoon to Sun at 4pm.

Sorry this has taken so long, was here for my daughters wedding (see my personal pictures).Located South of corporate Kansas City, Overland Park and Olathe in rural Spring Hill, The Bowery KC is a GREAT out of the way location for ANY.... and I mean ANY.... event you want to have.Sitting on a nice sized acreage of country land, there is ample parking available, a public inside/outside bar and pub(?) area with abundant seating, tables and country games for amusement. There is also a private inside/outside bar area with space for dancing and a completely separate location for weddings and an attached outdoor area for the dinner reception.It's hard to adequately describe the layout, you just have to see it for yourself; but if you like my reviews and have come to trust my word - YOU NEED YOU HAVE YOUR EVENTS HERE ! ! !Thank You Bowery For Making My Daughters Dream Wedding A Reality !

The space and property are absolutely stunning, you see a glistening pond when you drive up it's super romantic and special makes you want to get married there. Lisa is a stand out from the staff, we really appreciated her advice. Thanks for everything Bowery kc ! My sister's day was a dream.

We attended an event last evening to celebrate a wedding that had previously been held out of state. I must say that the venue itself is amazing and beautiful. However, the service at this event was absolutely awful and downright rude. The bowery began to take down tables in the middle of an event. I was told they had the space until 9:30 and tables began coming down at 8:50 (WITH EVEVRYONE STILL THERE). The 'bartenders' were never at their station, and could be seen coming from other rooms with their own drinks.

Oct 10, 2017 5:46pmI went there on a recent Friday evening and waited 20 minutes for my order to be taken. I thought this was no big deal because they were very busy. A waitress took my beer order and my credit card to open a tab. More than 35 minutes after that I had not seen the waitress again. I noticed one of the owners chatting with a couple of guys near the food trailer during this time so I assumed they weren't completely overwhelmed or he would be helping. I told him I hadn't seen my server for 35 minutes and she had my credit card. He told me they had a waitress quit on them. He didn't offer to do anything so I asked if she stole my credit card. He asked my name and walked away. I watched him go to the bar and fix a mixed drink of some kind. Then he and the bartender looked through a bunch of credit cards and he brought my card to me. By that time, I'd been there over an hour. There was no attempt by management to identify and serve customers who were left at the waitress's station. Maybe they are still learning what it takes to succeed in this business but they certainly didn't seem to care about this incident.

The event staff at this venue completely lacks in customer service and event management skill sets. The wedding reception kicked off with the event manager telling the MOB and bride that they could not enter the venue after four guests had arrived early. Absolutely beyond embarrassing. To make matters worse, even after a thorough walk through to finalize event specifications with the MOB and MOG, the event manager did not have the space set-up as we had requested. Our plans and requests took things such as best food presentation and event flow into consideration. The TV monitor did not work, thus a slide show of wedding photos was never able to be shared with our guests. It took a long time before the music/playlist could actually be played on their system. The outdoor bar was never set up. The yard games were never placed out on the lawn. The groom was told that last call would occur 50 minutes prior to the event close. The event staff began pulling tables and chairs 30 minutes prior to the event close. The event manager was also overheard by our guests telling the bartenders that the MOG was "very difficult to work with." While the venue is located in a very pretty setting and the event space is nice, I would never recommend this venue to other families who are looking to celebrate a lovely occasion and to be treated in a professional and courteous manner.

Absolutely gorgeous. My fiancé and I were visiting the brewery next door and noticed this place and knew we needed to have our future wedding here. I contacted the Bowery and have been communicating with a woman by the name of Oz. She has made our wedding planning so easy, stress free, and exciting. She is informative, calm, and knows her stuff which makes the process run a lot more smoothly. We will be having our wedding here next October and cannot wait

The Bowery is an absolutely gorgeous event space. Their new general manager and lead planner Bre Probst is a gem to work with when planning your events. She will bring your dreams to life stress-free as much as possible. Bre is also very hands-on with you and is great at answering any questions you have. She is a creative genius!
