What is this? The bar and restaurant inside the Four Points By Sheraton located in Manhattan, KS.Why does this place justify five stars? Because they have a good menu, superb Ribeye and K.C. Strip, fantastic local microbrews from Kansas City and Manhattan, KS, a full complement of liquor...but Jared the manager is head-and-shoulders above the rest and not because he's really tall (he is) but because he understands how to run a bar and restaurant...he understands it's his people that generate the ExtraGoodGoodKarma© ... he understands that training and development is what inspires his staff to be the best they can be.Special shout out to my peeps working for (or having worked for) Jared ... in no order of preference, pardon the misspellings...: Krystle, Stasi, Katie, Lyndsie, Molly, Sonny and all the rest I might have missed. I had high hopes for this place by reading the previous reviews, but was highly disappointed! Two of us ordered KC strips and they both had a tremendous amount of fat on them. I had to send my steak back as it was so raw that it was still mooing! I ordered it only slightly pink... The potatoes were cold and the vegetables were greasy that were supposed to be steamed. To top it all off we asked about desert and it was 10:15 on a week night for the server to tell us the cook went home. Why would a cook go home when customers are still in the dining room? The server tells me because the kitchen closes at 10:00. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time! The place needs some help in many aspects!!! Management and training is needed in the worst way here!!! We will not be back again!!

Exhausted after an 11 hour travel day, I chose to eat here due to the convenience of it being located in my hotel. What a disappointment. The food was below standard- even for a hotel bar and grill. I had the French Dip Sandwich and it was served with a chunk of not even melted cheese and the "Jus" had no flavor- had to smoother it in ranch dressing to make it edible. I will say that the service was great- no complaints there.

Absolutely horrible! Waitress was terrible and not friendly at all. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was dry and not good. They pretty much gave me a grilled chicken strip on a very dry chibatta bun. Only good thing was the fries and mozzarella sticks. We will not be going back to this restaurant!!
