Friendly service and a cool atmosphere! Not sure I'd come back for the food though...burnt end nachos were ok, the chips really took away from it. Candied bacon was good! Ahi poke was good but again, wouldn't come back for the food. Adorable location in downtown Harisonville!

My husband and myself love the 1886! Is a hidden gem in Harrisonville that has great drinks and great food! If you love Riesling wine you have to try their Coconut Riesling made only for this amazing spot by their neighborhood winery mercantile!!! My husband is an old fashion kind of guy, if you are one or your partner is one, ask for the "the Buff" we created the name for the old fashion that the bartender Buff do, is amazing and I can assure you, you'll drink couple of them! The spot is super nice, welcoming atmosphere and great for events! Do yourself a favor and take an escape to Harrisonville and 1886!

Came here for the first time with a friend today and the pictures of what we ate do not do justice for the flavor we experienced! Burnt end nachos, candied bacon, caprese flatbread, pretzel bites and beer cheese. Such a cool atmosphere, great staff, and amazing menu. Come check it out!

Our visit to left us thoroughly unimpressed, with cold food and lackluster service overshadowing any potential culinary delights.Despite being one of only three diners in the restaurant, our meals arrived cold, with the medium rare burger disappointingly overcooked to a medium well. When we raised concerns about the temperature and preparation of our food, our feedback was met with icy indifference, further souring the already lackluster experience. While the food itself showed promise in terms of taste, the subpar atmosphere and service detracted significantly from our overall enjoyment. With only a handful of patrons present, one would expect attentive service and properly prepared meals, yet our expectations were not met.In conclusion, while the food at The 1886 may have potential, the lack of attention to detail and poor service marred what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. We left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return, hoping that improvements will be made to ensure a more satisfying visit for future patrons.

On our way to southern Missouri and stopped in for lunch. Menu options were burgers, chicken, flatbread, and salads. Several appetizers to choose from, including bacon wrapped shrimp, pretzel bites, and ahi tuna. Service was A+, and the food was surprisingly phenomenal. We had bar food expectations, but it was really, really good. Pricing was good, maybe a bit high for a small town, but worth every penny. We'll be back, it's worth the drive.

Came here to get a quick bit to eat and was very happy with the flavor and quality of our food. Great ambiance for sports games, parties, or just even hanging out. We loved the adult Mac n cheese with burnt ends and nachos with burnt ends. Service can be slower when a game is going but staff was friendly and made it a great experience. Wait times are expected during high traffic time. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Fun little spot tucked just around the corner from the square. Came for happy hour with friends. When you walk in there are some brighter tables and a jukebox, or you can go around the corner to the darkened moody bar. Speakeasy like!Good selection of wines and beers on happy hour and some fun appetizers too. I had the Ace pineapple hard cider and a platter of burnt end nachos.. delicious! My friends enjoyed a half price bottle of Moscato and the spinach artichoke dip. Great place to hang out and the service was attentive.
