Tejavan Mexican Restaurant

My grandparents always take me here for lunch after church on Sunday when I visit them. The food is delicious, especially the Pollo Bandido (forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly), and the portions are large enough that we always have leftovers for dinner. The staff are friendly and usually fast even with the Sunday lunch rush, too. Highly recommend.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The grilled jalapeños are seasoned just right. Molcajete is the best around! A must try. The kids love the cheese quesadillas. Great chips and salsa. Excellent service, and a fantastic birthday celebration location.

first of all didn't get drink refills or salsa refills. next all the adults got served before the kids. My order was wrong. I ordered no pico de Gallo and it was all inside my burrito. My sons ordered no vegetables which was all inside his food all the kids food was screwed up. They all ordered hamburgers with pickles and ketchup all were incorrect. I'm very upset with the food

Out in the middle of no where Kansas great Mexican food. I had the Carne Mexicania it was delicious! Nice chips and salsa. Looks a little rough "The Hills have Eyes" from the outside, but inside it's very nice with cute colorful tables and chairs. I definitely recommend it if your on your way to the "Worlds Largest Ball of Twine"!

The perfect mexican restaurant! Many layers of well developed flavor! Family service at its best . Off the beaten path which adds to the charm. Margaritas strong tasty and delicious. Do not miss this place there are a lot of cars (customers)and a simple metal palm tree. It is not an obvious restaurant keep your eyes opened

Live in San Diego and I'm a Mexican food fanatic!! My litmus test is always two things: quality of salsa or hot sauce and the carne asada - both were amazing. Super impressed (and surprised )!!

Passed through Beloit for business and stayed at the Backyard Lodge motel across the street. Ignore the ripped sign, they will get a new one soon. The food is excellent. I ordered the shrimp, steak and chicken fajita. Sizzling hot with a big side plate of rice, beans, and guacamole, all for $12.99! I strongly suggest you visit while passing through this small but friendly town in Beloit.

worst service I've ever had! I ordered quesadillas and the tortilla was whole. I asked if I get get it sliced. the waiter that was playing with his Rubik's cube said "you have a fork, don't you?". rude people. I never saw another employee. Did I mention the staff was rude? I got done eating and the same guy said "well that was fast!". yes sir, because no one checked on me and I had no water or salsa. so why stay?? will never go back.

Great food and friendly service! Huevos Rancheros and quesadilla San Juan Chicken are my faves.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. Yes, it looks like a gas station or mechanic shop but it is without a doubt the Best Mexican food in the area. Great chips and salsa and flavored margaritas. Highly recommend the pollo cama. Just need to update/remodel the outside and would be an easy five stars.
