Taqueria Gallo De Jaliscos

I'm doing a project in this small town for a few weeks. On my first day here, I was a bit annoyed that there seemed to be very limited food options. After asking one of the locals where THEY go out to eat, the name of this restaurant came up.Today I visited and ate there; I was pleasantly surprised to find a huge Mexican food menu that also included seafood. So I picked an item from their Seafood menu and one from the other menu.Aguachile and Caldo de Res. These are two well known staple dishes. One is popular in the coast, the other in every Mexican town. If either one of them was improperly prepared, poorly seasoned or served wrong, I would know to never come back. I'm happy to report that both passed with flying colors! Delicious, flavorful and generous portions, authentic and thoroughly satisfying! The place is clean, prices are modest and the service is friendly and quick. The two ladies in charge are all smiles and make you feel welcomed.I wish every little town had a place like this. And it speaks volumes to the contributions and entrepreneurship of immigrant families, making small towns more colorful and attractive.Muy bueno!

This is my favorite dine in Mexican place in town. I am stuck ordering the Camarones Rancheros because they have perfected this dish. They have moved from their previous location. They purchased the old Wendy's at 700 N Kansas Ave. With a complete remodel, this place is much more inviting than the old building.

It was perfect, I ate the quesadilla with a taco and it was good the lady was so nice she was talking to us and she was super nice!

Amazing beans! Great food! Large portions! Chips and salsa are not that great so that's why it's only 4 stars.

My favorite place in Liberal for tacos! My favorites are the Asada and the El Pastor. Make sure you get it "con todo" which means "with everything." It's a little spicy but not too bad. It's not on the menu but you can ask for a slice of avocado to go along with it which compliments it very well.

Not even sure what I just experienced, how they are still in business is beyond me. The only thing that was decent was the Salsa. Stale chips, beans like water (looked and taste) and just overall very poor experience.
