Loved it! Driving through town looking for a quick bite and arrived just in time to open the place up!I ordered the City Chicken and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was tasty and very well-balanced. The bun was perfect and not too filling. The surprise of the meal was the tomato basil bisque soup. Very creamy. Every sandwich comes with a bowl of soup. It was a great addition to the sandwich! The wait staff was quick too. We were in and out in 20 minutes, but it was filling up for the lunch rush - even on Christmas Eve!

Tried Tanya's for the first time today. It was very busy so we did take out. I'll give you some thoughts on each item we ordered.Artichoke and spinach soup (not pictured): I didn't try it because it just isn't my thing. That being said, I have been told that it was decent. You'll have to try it yourself.City chicken sandwich: I did have a bite of this one. It's not bad, just a little messy which is probably due to the dressing. Olive: I honestly thought this was a sandwich named after someone as many places do this, usually naming a regular customer's favorite sandwich. I was wrong. This is a very creamy chicken salad sandwich with cashews, lots of herbs (not sure what exactly) and olives. This was a very creamy sandwich that doesn't work on rye bread. It fell apart after two bites. Not a deal breaker but I didn't care for the olives. I love olives but it just doesn't really work for me. It makes for a very salty sandwich. Potato salad: this is a red potato salad with herbs. It's not overly creamy, just a tad dry though that's probably on purpose. This was ok. They do give you a lot which you could probably share.Pasta salad: this is not a vinegar heavy pasta salad. It's actually kind of sweet. It does have carrots in it so if they are not your jam it's best to skip it. Again, it's a big portion and best to share. Not pictured was the roll that came with the order. It tasted like maybe a sourdough type of roll. It's a little dense which makes it good to dip in soup. All in all, not terrible. I would definitely like to try other things on the menu.

A local favorite, love their rotational soups and down to earth employees. Never a day it's not busy at lunch but still efficient.

I have NEVER been to her shop. And I need to, however I doordash my meals from here and it's a hit every time. I had a soup sooooo good, I had to call my uncle in NC and tell him he no longer makes the best soup gumbo!!! The Sandwiches are good and every soup is amazing. You can never go wrong with any soup, they are allllll amazing. I have no room to provide any feedback on how to be better, this is a 5 star establishment.

I can't review the food because we never got any. We arrived at 12:30, but they weren't allowing dine in orders unless a table opened up, and couldn't guess when one would. So I switched to the takeout line but they asked for a backup soup choice since they were running out of Chicken Noodle (!). Mondays are Chicken Noodle day, 1-1/2 hours into lunchtime and they're already running low. What a joke.

Oh my gosh. I've been coming for years. Order delivery to my work. Nothing beats the salads, sandwiches and soups at Tanya's. I love the Olive but Delilah's is great as well. Actually never been disappointed. Even the cold peach soup was delicious.

I ordered the Grandpa Rubie ( a reuben divine: corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on toasted marble rye) and a side of potato salad. Potato salad was unique -- seemed like they mixed asiago cheese with red potatoes. Needed a touch bit more salt. I had high hopes for this place but it turned out to be a "no" for me. I think $20 for lunch (sandwich + dessert) is pricey. Staff didn't throw a smile down. Definitely hippie alternative. Perhaps they saw "Koch" on my credit card? I'd rather go to Jimmie Johns for the price to be honest. Maybe I just ordered the least exciting items on the menu. Was honestly let down.

Atmosphere - Clean, sits maybe 30 people, sort-of hippy vibe. Plenty parking. Service - Very friendly and efficient. Order at the counter and food is delivered to your table. Food - I had a sandwich that was good. Wife had a soup and half sandwich that she said it was good. Nothing great about this place but good enough that we will return.

This is hands down the place for soup and salad in Wichita. Fresh ingredients and variety in a unique home town setting. Delivery is available as well. Half sandwich is a bit on the small side. Consider ordering the full if you are hungry.

Delicious!! Everything about this place was 5 stars! Service was fast and friendly, food was YUM, and the seating area was eclectic & welcoming. The tomato bisque was WOWZA and the roast beef sandwich I got was *chef's kiss*! Soup + whole sandwich was filling (I had a half sandwich leftover) and the total was around $11 for lunch - not bad! Definitely heard about this place growing up in Wichita, and now regret not going earlier! Run don't walk!
