Tailgaters Sports Pub & Grub

When you start out as a 3 star you can go either way in a few years. Unfortunately, this place has moved steadily in the WRONG direction. Fewer and lower value beer specials, uninspired food menu (including their pitiful Tuesday taco special that packs the Topeka Tightwads in of course) and recently another slap in the customer's face a CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE! When will these small retailers figure out it's bad business to tell the majority of your customers they have to pay more for the same product just for using a more efficient (for both consumer and business owner) method of payment. The fees charged by card companies should be factored into pricing like ANY OTHER expense.

Thursday night trivia is the best. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Plenty of TVs to watch the local teams play. I'm a big fan of the wings. I go here often.

You know what you're in for at a place like this. Nonsense bar food fried to order delivered by a friendly face with ten other tables that aren't in too much of a hurry. Easy vibe. Exactly what you'd expect for a fair price. Hard to hate.

Excellent food. Wings were fantastic.My wife had the Excellent Burger. Service was the best.Noticing some photos on the wall they apparently support families dealing with cancer.

Went to this bar for the first time lastNight (tues) there was a handful of friendly people. My buddy and I grabbed some beers and played darts. The bartender was super friendly and quick to fill out drinks. The bar is a decent size space and has plenty of TVs for whatever Game you want to watch. I look forward to going to this place regular

Not that I've experienced that many bars in Topeka, but this is not the place for me. This wasn't my vibe or atmosphere and the waiter could have cared less to do his job. He literally had zero cares to give nor did he know how to correctly write down 6 drink orders. This is a hard pass for me coming back but at least the drinks were cheap.

I go to Tailgators Sports Pub and Grub for Taco Tuesdays. This bar is very clean, a little on the utilitarian side with lots of metal such as tall tables and stools, a bar with wooden chairs and large booths. There are lots of TV sets and sports decor. I have never ordered any food other than the tacos on Taco Tuesday at noon time. They are $0.75 each. Regular size taco shells with fresh lettuce, shredded cheese and flavorful taco seasoning on the ground taco meat. I order three tacos and a Diet Rite cola at a cost of $3.75. Can't beat that for lunch. And I love RC Cola which Diet Rite is an RC Cola brand. The restaurant fills up fast as soon as the bar opens at 11:00am, so other people must like Taco Tuesdays as well.

Went here to watch a football game while in town. Great service and cheap alcohol. Win win!

Worst burger I have ever eaten. Shame they take fresh beef and burn it. Ordered a burger, came to the table and was burnt badly. Refused to eat or pay for it and they brought me another. Same, same. Had to choke it down with a bunch of iced tea. Shame you take a fresh burger patty and destroy it. Never eat there again if I want a burger. Get me a quarter pounder with cheese from McDonald's instead.
