Tacos la Carreta

We loved the Caldo de Res!! The meat was tender--and plenty of it, lots of healthy and tasty vegetables (potatoes, zucchini, Mexican squash, corn, carrots--all your vitamins), a light but flavorful broth, accompanied by tortillas, rice, salsa, and limes. The salsa is not hot, it is flavorful roasted chilies and tomatoes. It is popular at noon, especially, line was out the door, but service was quick and nice. On a cold, almost snowy day, it was perfect!!

Took these tacos to go there are no Togo box. Also prices were covered up which was strange but all together ended up being 17.38. tacos good. green salsa was very flavorful. Beans and rice were just ok

It was delicious but the menudo meat was to big for me. And it needed more spice and oregano

Food was ok.We had tacos ,menudo and rice.Taco shells was kind of dry and they forgot our tortillas for menudo .Rice was good .

Awesome tacos right here.. My go to place when I'm here in town cheap, clean, and very friendly happy staff! Great restaurant here in GC...

Stopped here for breakfast burritos since we saw the parking lot full. Thought must be a popular spot for locals. Did the drive up, and got very good sausage and ham burritos for only $2.50 each. Everything is fixed fresh. Worth the 5 min wait. Will be back to try other menu selections.

Meh. Just meh. Tacos de asada are good. No refried beans though. Also, no free water. They make you buy a drink. Most sodas are 2.00. Except strawberry Fanta is apparently 2.50.

Food is good but service is terrible and gets worse by the day. I ordered ahead of time and still waited over 40 minutes for my order. I have ordered multiple times in the last month and this has been the case several occasions and on top of that they don't get my order right. This was my go to place and often recommend it to my coworkers but I will be going elsewhere for better service from now on.
