This place is just a lower budget Taco Bell.... Tacos ares plain and simple stuff you can make at home and way better. I also got a cheese enchilada, it was spongie, i didn't finish that. There service was quick you just order at a window inside and they say your number d you grab it. When i went it was on a Tuesday evening and there were tons of people so they must like it. Ambience wasn't loud or anything typical fast food type surroundings. This is all opinions based on my end. There's better options in Hays Kansas.

Man oh man. This place took me back to my childhood. They have taco shops everywhere, but this one is the only one that's the real Taco Shop. Is it authentic Mexican? No, of course not. We're in Kansas. Is it Taco Bell? No, don't talk crazy. It's better. This is Taco Shop. Owner of the most delicious Sancho Supreme, house-made queso, Mexican pizzas, taco burgers, and everything in between. I used to come here all the time when we lived here around 23 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. One bite of my Sancho Supreme and I was right back in my childhood. Thank you for keeping this place true and the same all these years.

No frills, just simple, freshly made food to order. Fast service. Had mine dine-in in less than 5 minutes. They deliver too ;) Not a fan of the rice--pasty to me and weird taste. For $8, they totally scrimped on the chicken, but taste of dish overall was just good, nothing to write home about as other reviewers have said.

In town for B-ball. Wanted to try this local fav again since they kinda crapped the bed last time. WOW. Was this ever GREAT! Sanchos & Burrachos were sooo good. Tried the chili con queso which was the !! 6-pack of hard shells to perfection. Can't say enough about this place. Forget those other joints, they can't compare.

This is like having tacos at home when you were a kid. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. We stopped here on our way from Oklahoma to Seattle. There are more authentic places around Hays. This place fills a niche that the farm raised people around here can totally eat up. Would visit again next time through Hays.

This is the reason I have formed a severe distaste for white people since leaving California, and a big reason why I'm returning to California. The food is absolute garbage. The tacos, the burritos, the sauce... bland bland bland. Burning in a bland hell deserving only of the most severe disdain. Who the heck likes this kind of food? How does anyone eat it? If you know what flavor is, if you have ever had good Mexican food, if you live in a reality not dictated by the hellhole that is the Midwest, then avoid this place at all costs. I struggled to swallow even a single bite. My soda was good.

Like the Golden Q, this is another Hays institution that doesn't live up to its reputation. The service is decent, no problems there but the food is mediocre at best. I was surprised by how bland it was. The shell on my taco was clearly stale. You can make the same thing at home with cheap ground beef and off brand seasonings. Bottom line: if you're in the mood for cheap Mexican food that you're going to regret eating, just head to to Taco Bell.

I order delivery often and never receive a straw for my drink. The first couple times I just got over it but it's getting ridiculous. I won't stop ordering, but I'm leaving this review so you can address the problem. The next time my drink actually comes with a straw I will immediately take it down.
