Taco Factory

Stopped here for supper after a long day of driving because it looked like a neat place. Sign said that they closed at 9, but shortly after arriving a little before 8 they turned off their sign and started putting chairs on the tables while we were eating. Lots of options with reasonable prices. I ordered The Brad which was supposed to come with chips and queso that were nowhere to be found. Had to ask for my drink and utensils. The food was okay but forgettable in terms of flavor. I always look for places like these when I travel, and I was disappointed tonight with the service and the meal. Maybe it would have been different if it were earlier in the evening, but I guess at the late hour when they were closing earlier than advertised I got what I got.

Customer service was great, pretty clean inside, quiet, everything is packed to go regardless. The food was eehhh, the beef had little texture pretty sure it was not 100% ground beef. The beans were very dry and the rice was not fully cooked as I had a few pieces that were hard and not a great flavor overall. Who serves rice that has oil on the bottom???The salad was fresh for sure, the fried items- well- fresh cooked so they were ok. Will not return however, didn't find this a good memorable experience.

Taco Factory has been my favorite place for so many years so take into consideration that this review is coming from a highly dissatisfied customer. I have been a loyal customer even through the price increases. Saturday 11/5/2022 I decided I wanted nachos, went to Taco Factory and paid over $10 for some nachos that were skimpy with stale chips. I was disappointed, but I wasn't going to hold it against them as I know how it is to maintain a small business. This evening 11/8/2022 I went through the drive thru for two tacos and a favorite triple dip. I get my order and head home. I get home with my tacos, delicious as always. But find 6 chips in a small bag. I tried a chip, again they are even more stale than they were Saturday when I went. This time I'm frustrated. I went back to the store to get more chips, he brings me three more chips in a bag, I reminded him that I ordered a triple dip. With guacamole, queso, and bean dip. Three dips, did he expect me to dip two chips twice and drink the rest of the queso. What am I supposed to do with now a total of 9 chips? (I didn't say this out loud) I was kind and just wanted more chips. I asked if I could buy more chips & he indicated that it was a 4 oz queso that came in the triple dip, so that's all he could do for me was 3 more chips.. like I said I've rode it out with taco factory through the good bad and the ugly counting up change for the bean and cheese burritos when money is tight. Stopping for a Cherry limeade or DP because they have the best.. I understand that the price of everything is going up. But 9 chips for a triple dip? Truly disappointing for a $9 meal of 3 dips, with 9 chips. I immediately went to spend my money at another store to get chips to atleast eat my dinner.

We were pulling into Woodward around 3:30pm on a Friday and noticed that the line of cars at the drive through was too the street. For a non-meal time we figured it must be pretty good. We returned after a day cavern tour in Alabaster State Park and headed for the Taco Factory. Again, the card were lined up so we went inside to eat. I'm so glad we did - there were TONS of menu items. We had a magnificent drilled soft taco kind of meal. Served with chips and queso. MAY be the most delicious these Texans have had!!! Don't let the run down exterior scare you away. It was fantastic!!!

Potato munchers are the best.... Despite everyone else this place is great with everything down to price!!

I travel to Woodward every other month or so for work and this is a definite stopping place for lunch or dinner when I am there. The Factory Sandwich is my menu item of choice although I try to add a new item with it to see what else I like. The Factory Sandwich is basically a taco burger, but you need to add some of their awesome salsa on top of it. It's a little more pricier than other fast food places but the quality and taste are much much better!

I'm from Chicago. Being in one of the best Mexican food city's. This place is awful. First you messed up by having white people work in your establishment. Just goes to show you it's not authentic Mexican. More like Taco Bell on steroids. But Taco Bell taste better. Definitely an American Mexican restaurant. Get rid of the white people. I'm white by the way. Lightning looked great lots of folks going in.

Food is consistent, always fresh and tasty. My usual stop when I pass through Woodward.

The portions are hilariously small. I ordered two fajita tacos ($2.90 each) and a chicken and rice burrito thinking that would be more than enough food. The tacos were about two bites each and were 90% stale tortilla. The chicken was for sure just Tyson frozen fajita chicken. Burrito literally fit in the palm of my hand. We ate Dairy Queen after because no one was remotely full. Chips and queso were decent enough though.

Very good. However they need to update their menu. They had a few drink options on the menu that weren't actually available. The food was good although slightly smaller than I'm used to. Overall a very good meal.
