My husband has been taking our dog to Sydney's since before we were ever together so I think he has "loyalty blinders" on, but the last several times we've boarded our dog or taken her for baths I personally don't feel she's been thoroughly bathed and I don't feel like the care has been that great. She smells like urine when we pick her up. Two times ago she developed a severe UTI directly after boarding and this time she definitely has some sort of feverish infection. I'm just not impressed and it's frustrating having to pay for vet visits after we board our dog.

I am impressed with the email communication I received in trying to plan how best to board our overly anxious large dog. I was offered several choices that all seemed like good options. Staff was responsive to my concerns and our dog's needs. They helped to set up a 1 night trial and offered suggestions. I have a very favorable impression of Sydney's Pet Resort.

Our pup has been going to Sydney's since she was 12 weeks old. It was great at first, clean smelling lobby; didn't know there were pets in the place when you walked into the lobby, the staff was always polite, professional and very pet friendly. Then about a few months ago, everything went downhill. The lobby smelled of urine, the help staff was less than friendly, and now our pup who has been there all this time, is showing signs of not wanting to be there. They used to bath her when she got into another dog's urine or feces while playing. Not now, they say they bathed her, but you can smell the urine on her underbelly. I have to put a dirty dog in the care and bathe her when we get home. And the final straw, whenever there is a holiday a few days before, they put up a small note on the door stating they are closed. No warning a few weeks ahead of time for those of us who work and are busy to notice that a holiday is coming up. Communication is key here. We used to get a report of how her day went, no longer do they do that. I think if management stepped up and got a good manager in there to turn this around and good staffing, they could bring this back up to where it was. Our pup is currently with Sydney's, but we are looking for another puppy daycare for her to make her happy. She is not the happy dog she once was when she went there before. If you love your fur baby, give them a try and if they've turned themselves around by the time you read this, wonderful. I'd love to give them 5 stars but at this point, I can't.

All the girls that work their are great and care about the dogs and take really great care of them. 10/10 would recommend giving sidneys a shot if you're looking for a place to love on your dog while you're at work for the day!

My wife and I both work, so when either one of us can't watch our dog we take her to Sydney's. I work from 7:30am to 4:30pm so this place is perfect with their open hours. Key info: They charge $25 per day of daycare and at 4pm they kennel all the dogs. My only gripe is that my dog comes back smelling bad... But that's to be expected. Overall, this place is a nice little daycare that can give your energetic dog a place to have fun while you go to work.Cost / Price: $25 per day of daycareOnly con: prices are steep

The staff is always so kind and helpful. Never disappointed with the care they have for my dog. Highly recommended for daycare needs and any bathing or hair cuts!

My two Aussie rescue pups are highly nervous. Had our first Day "board" (not daycare - they are still a bit nervous w other dogs). The staff was GREAT! They were so nice to my two! Great feedback; followed direction for their meds & meals. Couldn't be more pleased!

Took our dog there 2 times 1st time he caught kennel cough thought was probably coincidence. We just picked him up Sunday from a weeks boarding and he is sick again, coughing and vomiting. Called Sydneys and all they said was that they would report to staff. Never heard from them to see how he is doing. pretty disappointing.

I went in to pick up my dog. There was some confusion over the dates, but anyway, there were two people. One was nice. The other one complained how she "had to do ALL THE PAPERWORK OVER AGAIN" and gave me a nasty look. I travel a lot. So, that was a big mistake. You'll never get my business again and sorry you had to "redo" paperwork.

This is the only negative review I've ever written. Sydney's was that awful. First dog groom (June 2021) went well. Second was supposed to be yesterday but they refused me service since i came in 10am. ("Our drop off is 9am or earlier so we can't help you"). Never was told, and they wouldn't help me. I left and when I got home the manager called to reiterate the policy. And to start arguing with me! What a truly hideous group of employees and an even worse owner. Going back to my prior groomer for sure.
