I found myself in the not so little northern Oklahoma town of Enid for work and wandered into this joint for dinner. I am so glad I did... to the point that I ended up not being upset about being out of town and by myself on my birthday. Admittedly, I am particular about my bbq, especially ribs. I genuinely expected very little from this joint in regards to quality of the bbq but I was absolutely blown away by Swadley's... in a good way.The setting is very pleasant and the cleanliness is above most. The service is excellent (thank you Ariana!) and my glass was never below 1/2 full. The menu choices are vast but not overwhelming. The prices are surprisingly lower than most bbq joints in TX. The fresh cut fries and the sweet beans are enjoyable. They offer 4 bbq sauces so you can customize your flavor... but you may not even mess the sauce because the meat is excellent. The brisket is tender, has a nice smoke ring and a flavorful bark. The sausage isn't greasy or spicy so it is enjoyable too. The chicken is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The ribs have the right amount of pull from the bone, bark, tenderness, and flavor. Very impressive Swadley's! Very impressive!

0 out of 5 stars. 6 weeks ahead of time we reserved the room at Swadley's for our baby shower. Sent out invites, got back all our RSVPs. 3 days before the event, they call and say "our corporate called and we will no longer be open the day of your event. And since it's a non-refundable deposit we can't give back your deposit." So it's your fault we can't have our event on the day we reserved it for, and you're giving us 3 days notice, and offering nothing as any sort of recompense? "Yes, that's correct."This is shitty customer service and shitty business practices. This place should be shutdown.

Upon entering the building, you feel like you're at an amusement park because you end up in this weird long line. But! It was still kinda funny and maybe this business gets a lot of people so that's why it has that area for a long line, I went on a not busy day. The service was good, I had a very friendly server and she was great! The sauces were good and the meat was good but a little tough? I am not a big fan of bbq so don't take my word for it but I would bring my friends here if they wanted bbq! The atmosphere was also nice, very spacious! It was weird though how when you order cobbler they give you a bowl with no cobbler and I wasn't sure what to do with it at first but I think it's just a place holder for when you do want cobbler. Good place though, I think it's a good place to go to overall :)

There were hard white pieces in the meatloaf that were described by the manager as bacon (even after showing her that they could not be cut). Food was salty. Couldn't find the server. We have always loved to go here, but after tonight it's going to be a long time before we go back.

Definitely the best place I've tried in the Enid area. This location offers such kind and well trained staff with service that smiles and makes you smile back. The staff made the experience genuinely fun and welcoming. The place itself had cute artwork and good music playing low enough to enjoy your conversation but loud enough as not to listen to your neighbor chew. The food was tender and moist all around with a great selection in their house sauces that each offer a different flavor for each meat. I have come three times and had the same quality each time, truly a good experience and excited for the next.
