Sunshine Bakery

This place has some good fresh Donuts we loved the bear claw. Place was quiet when we got there, but it was probably because they were closing in an hour. Overall I liked this place.

What a great little place. We were traveling thru and had a tire blowout at night a few miles east on I-70. We ended up staying in Oakley because of the time we spent fixing it. Anyhow, super friendly folks and great food. I had a burrito which was awesome. 3x the size of a fast food one. The iced mocha I had was also really tasty. The donut smell in the place is obnoxiously delicious and they were also really good. Definitely a great spot. Get there early though, they sell out!

Wow the drip coffee is really really good here. It's Boyer's from Denver, CO. Smooth and not too bitter. I wish they would sell the grounds/beans because I definitely would have bought them. My husband and I each had a breakfast croissant sandwich which was warmed up and delicious. There's sufficient seating inside and enough for a large group. Service was friendly and they do have drive-thru. They do sell out of donuts pretty fast it seems or at least they did that Saturday morning. The sign outside will say Daylight Donuts so don't be confused. It is Sunshine Bakery as said on a smaller sign on the window. This place is worth the drive from Colby!

The coffee was superb. The donuts were fresh and yummy and the staff so helpful. Accidental find which enjoyed phenomenally.

This place is a little gem. Stopped on the way to lil Jerusalem state park. the donuts and croissants and espresso were all very good.

Must have the sausage roll!! Most amazing breakfast we had on the road this summer. We originally went in for their biscuits and gravy or breakfast burrito but they were out (our fault for coming in at almost close) but he offered us the sausage roll and it was not a disappointment. Note: since weren't from the area we were a little confused about the door to enter, the GPS said we were there but there wasn't a clear sign of "sunshine bakery" the sign says "daylight donuts" that is the right place if you see it!

I almost wasn't sure whether I was leaving a review for the correct donut bakery place, which my husband and I stopped by while we were in town, because when we came it had the sign "Daylight Donuts". I was really pleased to find this bakery shop for a quick breakfast that wasn't necessarily fast food. The donuts here are really tasty and I was pleased to have this with a decent breakfast sandwich (yes, they have more than donuts and baked goods). We chose a few donuts to eat here and bought some blueberry scones to take home with us. I just wish that we had a local one near our home. The scones, just like the donuts were very fresh and tasty. Coffee was great too! Can't go wrong if you want a decent breakfast before you head out to Monument Rocks.

Absolutely delicious! Just wish my coffee was hot instead of iced but it was still awesome! It was my first time there and I just assumed it was a hot drink so next time I come through that area I'll know and ask for it hot

If you're traveling through Oakley KS take a stop here for a great cup of coffee, cappuccino, or custom latte and don't pass up the donuts. Comfortable ambiance to take a break from the road. Ethan is very friendly!

We were staying at motel next door so tried out the bakery because it was a few steps away. Cute place inside. Not much from the outside. Friendly gal took our order. Breakfast burrito was nothing to write home about. I ate about a third of it and couldn't finish it. Hubby barely finished his and, shockingly, had no interest in finishing mine like he normally would. Chocolate covered, white cream filled donut was very good as was the Boston creme.
