Sunrise Christian Academy

Great school with great structure. The teachers are always there to help and talk. Childcare is amazing as well. If you want strong Christian children I highly recommend sending them to sunrise.

We just got in, but so far we feel like it's a Great school, has caring staff and lots of extracurricular activities.

The early elementary grades at Sunrise are very good. It's really an excellent school at this stage. The teachers are kind, the curriculum is great, and it is probably one of the best schools in town. However, the closer the kids get to middle school, and then all the way through middle and high school, I would never recommend this place. The rules are arbitrary; the school makes major mistakes and then requires the students or families to take the blame (and there's always a punishment); they claim superior teachers and curriculum, but in general that is not the case. There are many foreign students there, which might be a plus, unless you child ends up in an English class with other students who barely speak the language. If there is anything you as a parent do not agree with (for example, your student in the non-English speaking English class) there is absolutely NO recourse for making a change. The administration is always right, and makes no mistakes; or so they say. It is unbearable. So I would give the school five stars for the elementary up through third grade; three stars for fourth and fifth; and negative stars, or none at all, for sixth grade on up.

I love everything about this school! It is a great Christian environment that is very welcoming and loving. The teachers, and the staff are very nice and helpful and the director of the school, Dr. Lindstead is very genuine and kind. The curriculum is challenging and will get your kids ahead of the curve and ready for college. I highly recommend this school.

I have sent my son to this school for 3 years. He started attend in kindergarten and they are the most caring and thoughtful Teachers I've meet. What my son has learned at the school you can't put a price on. Their education is top notch way above any other public school or private school that I've seen. They also go out of their way to take special attention to your children and there certain needs or areas that they need to grow in. I can't recommend them enough. If you're thinking about sending your child to school there definitely do it it will be the best thing you've done.

Run! Run parents from enrolling your children in this daycare. Injuries that they will not acknowledge even happened there, they will let your child go all day without food. The teachers are mean to the children. It is a nightmare and the director is one of the rudest people imaginable.
