Sunny Stop

Once upon a time, this was a tiny, insignificant convenience store across the street from the movie theatre. One day, I noticed the pumps had been torn out and lots of construction was going on. People paid attention. After all, it's the last place to get gas, food and snacks on your journey to elsewhere...or El Dorado Lake. I took plenty of pics, as I am impressed with the Phoenix rising from the ashes. There is even a liquor store built right into it, next door. Now, lots of people are coming in. I like this little store already, but now it stands proud on the East side of El Dorado!

Shopped at Sunny's east location since they've been open, then one day I saw a large sign in the cooler advertising beer at a good price. When the transaction was in process, the clerk rang the beer up at a higher price! Upon questioning, the clerk informed me the it was an old price and pointed out a higher price on a display case. I felt that a retailer should honor a marked price in their store so I boycotted Sunny's for eight months! Last week I stopped by the store in hopes of speaking to the manager but instead encountered the same salesman as mentioned in the before indecent. I very calmly tried to communicate with him only to be met with a very agitated and aggressive response. He accused me spending 45 minutes in the cooler and posting an old sign which I had found in the cooler. Both are false accusations!

This place has the worst clerk I ever encountered anywhere... I notice another person has commented on his rudeness also...I am encouraging other people to write comments about this clerk, because I am not the only one that has experienced his horrible behind the counter manners...he won't even bag up the bottles securely, and acts agitated if I ask him about anything... I have started going to Kaspers...and the Brewsky barn...this guy is going to ruin Sunny's business, people want to be treated halfway decent when they are spending their hard earned money...I hope you take heed
