The absolute most frustrating customer service to deal with (this branand the 800 #). First I tried to change my last name on my account and they didn't know how to do that in house and blamed it on getting a "new system". It took them over an hour of me sitting and waiting to tell me that. Then I closed an account and they messed up because they "forgot" to also cancel the automatic monthly draft that was coming out of another bank account I have. Thank goodness I noticed their mess up, because they would have never called. I spoke with 3 different people with their customer service department, that have told me 3 different things. It's taken them 10 days to finally tell me that they won't be able to return the money by computer and so they will have to see if the can "cut me a check." Only 4 branches in town and it's hard to get decent help past every day transactions. Based out of Salina so there's only so much they can deal with in town.

Sunflower Bank is awesome. I've used them while living in several different cities in Kansas and people at all branches are helpful. They even solved fraudulent charges to my debit card for me! All it took was a phone call- they really are that helpful.

Walked into the North Webb Branch and front office was full of old computers, phones and other tech devices in plain site. Asked the teller that I wanted to purchase a CD and apparently the ONLY PERSON in the office that could assist me said it would be at least an hour due to "many things" going on in the office. Really, at 10:00 in the morning?? Called the Harry Street Branch shortly after the Webb Branch experience and was on hold for 20 minutes and they never picked up the call! Since Sunflower Bank didn't want my considerable CD deposit, I went to our Credit Union of America on North Maize which was a breath of fresh air! Got the same 5.5% CD interest rate with a little less term length which is not a bad thing. Also the great customer service and professionalism by Credit Union staff was a nice thing to experience as well! Is Sunflower Bank being sold or under bank examination soon? One only knows!

This bank used to be great but now not so much. It seems like every other month they are shutting down my account and not letting me have access to my money. I am a single mom and count on my direct deposit. Horrid customer service and horrid interest rates. Not worth it.

I used to love this bank. Lately they seem to creep up fee charges and now under another frequent guise of "updating" online banking yet another change has cost me $35. They won't let you transfer money after 9 pm but they sure jerk money out of your account so as to charge an overdraft fee. I hate them. They've gotten the last fee from me. I'm moving to Meritrust.
