Sugartime Confections

We a really wanted to love this place. It has great potential. The location is good, cute decor, great concept. The execution, however, was less than great. We stopped in for a couple of smoothies. Their only offerings were smoothies made from sugary powders and cheap poppping-type boba scooped out of buckets. No fresh fruit or real fruit juices. Sickeningly sweet and no authentic Thai boba. Selection of bakery items were sparse. We could see this place as having wonderful potential for someone with a real passion for baking and quality ingredients. If we travel through this area again, we'd take a pass.

Closed Sunday -Tuesday for baking. So worth the wait (for when she's open) for the made from scratch yummy-goodness!

I ordered a birthday cake with a simple message for my friend: "Happy Birthday, Brian" with a picture of him on the cake. That was on a Monday for a Friday pick up. On the day before the pick up, I called to make sure everything was okay. The owner told me she had lost my number and glad I called. Her computer was having trouble adding the image to the cake. She said the coloring was off. I told her not to worry about the color and just put it on there. The next day, my wife's friend picked up the cake and it was no where close to what I wanted (see attached pic). No refund was offered and no call to apologize. Wow. This is the only place in town to make personal cakes outside of Dillons. From now on, I'll get a cake from Dillons or someplace in Wichita.

We had lunch last week. The sandwiches are worthwhile. The cookie I bought however was very dry

What a great little shop! My wife and I both ordered a specialty sandwich crepe, she had a ham (South) and I had the Reuben (North). Both were excellent! In honor of National S'mores Day we both had the specialty s'more cookie. Both were excellent! Service was very friendly and we were able to visit with the owner/chef. Before we left she even gave us two free of charge specialty cookies to take home. For a light lunch or specialty cookies or cakes, i would highly recommend this place.

I had to wait about 15 minutes because a group in front of me had ordered several drinks and one lady was working by herself, which was no problem, but she was so sweet and gave me my drink for free. I got the milk tea with boba and it was amazing! I'll definitely be going back!

Ordered a baby shower cake that should have been baby blue with grey dots sent her the picture and everything! Came out teal with no grey dots. I had a banner custom made with baby blue and grey that was supposed to hang over the cake table. However I had to hang it outside to avoid more baby blue looking horrible with the teal cake. Table cloths, balloons, cups, plates, decorations all around the colors of the cake. Thank goodness for last minute shopping and extra balloon me that cake with our helium tank. 2 hours to the shower and she says I can just go to the grocery store and buy a sheet cake!! What? That wasn't even enough time to request writing on a crappy sheet cake! Then she acted as though I was crazy for caring about the colors saying "I never had a customer upset about colors" and claiming the grey looked like the blue on her computer.If colors don't matter go here, if they do avoid it

My friends ordered cookies for my baby shower almost two months in advance, and the lady said would do it, and she would order the mold for the cookies. The night before my shower, at 8:30pm, she called to say she was sick and couldn't make them. We asked her to recommend someone to do the order for us, she said she didn't know anyone who would have the mold to do it. So, my friends did their best to improvise but it's really disappointing that this business would be so unprofessional. We think she backed out because she forgot to order the mold, otherwise she could have just offered to let another baker use the mold she supposedly special ordered for my special occasion. It totally disappointed us all. Why start a business if you can't manage your time better?

Best Oreo cupcakes ever! And the custom birthday cakes are phenomenal! I refuse to go anywhere else. I'd give this place five stars everyday!
