Sugar Creek Country Store

Clean, well-designed shop with a lot of local products. Staff are always friendly. Have had sandwiches here and recently brought a niece and nephew by for some ice cream.

What a lovely find in St Mary's! Had lunch, bought jams, totally enjoyed our lil' sojourn from Topeka.

The staff were all smiling and helpful. My Panini was excellent. The parking was at the curb near the store front. The store had hundreds of items for sale to look at before ordering and after eating. It was an enjoyable lunch time visit and worth the 35 mile drive to Saint Mary's

Great healthy snack while in town. The interior looks clean and sanitary. They have tables inside for large groups and provide great customer service.

This might be the best general store I have ever been to. Fresh food, fresh sandwiches, and great service. I'm tempted to go back to Kansas just to visit this place again and get another Reuben.

This was a cute little country store that had a little bit of everything, including a place to eat lunch as well as bulk items. We were just passing through to visit the Angelus Press Bookstore and see the progress on the Immaculata! St Mary's is such a cute little town and can't wait to go back!

An oasis in St. Mary's, Kansas. I'm far from an expert on Kansas eateries but if your traveling between Topeka and Manhattan, I doubt you'll find a better deli sandwich purveyor. It would be great to see the rest of the town rally around the Sugarcreek country store.

The Sugar Creek country store is a gem of Americana. They have a great selection of really tasty sandwiches and salads made to order behind the deli. They have a store full of wonderful and varied snacks and foods and drinks along with spices and flours and sugar. They have a cooler full of Dairy items and other items to make for a great picnic. Staff are so helpful and warm and welcoming. You will do yourself a treat if you stop at the Sugar Creek country store as you're driving through St. Mary's.

Great location, great people! I look to get a variety of things there, from peanuts and pretzels to gummy bears to ice cream.
