Sugar Creek Apartments

I lived in these apartments for 2 years the landlord is worthless if something breaks don't expect it to be fix right or right away either one time the guy above us his hot water hearted broke and flooded our apartment ! We try and call the emergency number and it went straight to voice mail they came and put fans in the apartment left them for 3 weeks and called it good 1 month later mold started to grow and they did a half ass job cleaning that up too . These are by far the worst apartments in Wichita and would not recommend them to anyone

lived here for two years almost. the first year was ok but then i moved to a one bedroom and had tons of bugs and mice that really wasn't taking care of unless i did it myself.

Sugar creek is my ONLY and LAST apartment complex experience, I had lived there for 3 years before I decided enough was enough. Camilla is very unprofessional. It takes longer than a month to have a maintenance request done. (If they even show up) My air conditioner was leaking underneath my carpet which I couldn't see or realize, caused BLACK MOLD to start growing. I made a request to have this fixed, two gentlemen that work for maintenance came about three weeks later after the request was sent, to only wash out the vents of my air-conditioner with a garden hose. They then put my air conditioner back in my wall, called it good and left. Upon further investigation I noticed black mold had not been removed and was still growing on the AC, another request was sent. But they never came back. THEN That's when I noticed when it would rain, underneath my AC Would be sopping wet. I have had acute bronchitis for the past 3 years and always wondered why. BLACK MOLD IS WHY. Upon moving out is when I noticed BLACK MOLD had been growing under my entertainment center; THATS WHEN I REALIZED HOW BAD THE SITUATION WAS. The past 2months I haven't lived there I can breath again. That is NOT the only maintenance request I sent and they did not come to fix. Here I am having to pay 600$ in cleaning fees which she tried to partially blame on my VERY well behaved dog. And then it's taken OVER 2 months to have my bill sent upon me calling and asking where in the world it was. I am WARNING you to not live here. Not because of terrible management but for the well being of yourself!

My girlfriend has lived here for 3 years and while we have been together I can confirm that this is not a place you want to live. The lady in charge is very rude over the phone and very slow on repairs IF they ever get even get processed. The maintenance performed is very poor inside and around the place. I almost fell through the rotting steps walking to the second floor. After living in several different apartments around Wichita I would without a doubt say this is the WORST experience I have ever personally been through. Not recommended for any reason whatsoever. Be warned stay away from this place as nothin is up to par.
