That old lady is the meanest person in Oklahoma.I've been in shock since I've moved to Oklahoma because everyone is so incredibly nice, this lady must be from out of town.Plus she dropped my bread on the ground and gave it to me. Plus she was super slow

It's a Subway.....but with a twist. This has to be the slowest Subway restaurant in the country. If there's more than 3 people waiting when you walk in, turn around and walk right back out. Speaking from multiple experiences here. Had to wait in line 25 min the other day with five people in front of me. First two guys easy sandwiches that my kid sister could've made faster. Then to throw a total wrench in the works the next person ordered a salad, what a mistake that was! It was the cue to walk out but my dumb self hung in there. Then two more sandwiches, one with nothing but meat and cheese. Quick and easy right? Nope... Then came my turn to load up my now cold toasted sandwich and get out the door. Total time from walking in and out the door 25 min!!! Why did I do this to myself??? Never again!! This franchise owner needs to take a close look at this business amd make some changes.

Okay first off, I have been to this subway about 10 times. Mostly because I love subway, also because Alva doesn't have much to offer. With that being said, this place has done down hill. Three visits ago is when it got repeatedly bad. Fran, the older lady who normally rings people out got scattered brained and set the bread practically on fire. The whole place was filled with smoke. Secondly, she cannot ring properly at all. I got charged for a dozen cookies and never even ordered one. It's ridiculous. They never have enough workers. Today there were eight people in line and one person working around 5pm. Prime dinner hour. So, terrible. I would just stick to the sandwich shoppe.

Don't let the reviews scare you away, this is a good little subway. The wife and I were starving on the road and we wanted nothing more than to enjoy some sandwiches, and this place delivered. Kerry was very friendly and the wait wasn't bad at all. The price was pretty expensive for a subway, just over $20 for two footlongs but we were very happy with our food. Would recommend

This subway just went through a bit of remodel. Looks pretty nice. Only a few tables and chairs. Now I see that they don't need any more seats.While they were remodeling they should have sent their employees to a service school! I walked in and stood in front of the counter, thinking, this will be fast cause no one is in front of me! Yay! It had been a bit since I last ate here and the sandwiches were good! This time things seemed a bit off! As I was standing there, the prices began to intrude on my thoughts. "Wait" I thought, "are these really the prices for 6" or footlongs?" First thought was correct. 6" Outrageously high. 12" unaffordable!10 minutes of waiting, I asked an employee if the list in front of them was all sandwiches they need to make before she would take my order. I already had watched her make 5 or 6 and the list was pretty impressive. No response. None. No eye contact. Nothing. Another employee standing beside her, looked up and then went quickly into the back. 15 minutes of no verbal or physical acceptance of the fact that there were indeed live customers standing in front of them, it was time to leave. I finally got their attention and told them they simply needed to acknowledge the fact I was there and I would have patiently waited. Their loss.I will never darken the doors of their establishment again. Furthermore, I will never recommend their business to anyone.Poor food can be improved, service can be trained but the attitude of rude employees will not be forgiven.Remember the above line if you want to succeed in any business.

This subway is 30% higher than any others. VERY rude, and literally threw my sandwich on the counter and said "THERE". It is always made so thin, and smashed.Typical for Alva, Ok. Better service at a gas station, and probably much cheaper. Don't waste your time here, the attitude alone ran me away for good.
