These folks have been here for years and their products are mouthwatering! Need ham hocks for a pot of beans? They have the best. They have sale specials and I haven't been disappointed once! Oh, did I mention their hot links? They have five different kinds and they are all top shelf. Do yourself a favor and visit this old time meat market/locker. You will be smiling afterwards and craving those hot links.

Poor customer service, only give back parts of your animal, keeping what they want, and when you call about missing items they say it was not there. For example, I had 2 hogs butchered. Relieved no liver, no hearts and no beacon. I called them to ask, and they said. Quote. They didn't have any. Then they said the liver was bad. Really??? And also, the hogs were to small to have beacon.. I guess they think customers are dumb...

I've been going to Stroot lockers for 20 years they do have wonderful products and meat for all very tasty but have had a bad experience when bringing deer to process once the help dragged my skinned deer across the parking lot!!!! wth !!!!!!!who in their right mind would do that....and next year they threw it on top of a pile of dirty deer with hides still on and very unclean deer that someone did not care about well I care how my meat is handled!! the worker said most people don't care !!!!!!! WTF REALLY!!!!! AND NOW TODAY they were busy as usual during deer season but they were out of pork fat to ad to meat the guy today tells me no fat this year and offered to add meat to burger for 1.75 a pound no mention of beef fat he said no fat this year at all which I was informed later at front counter that was not the case.when I complained about it and the attitude of a couple workers in the back and what was said to me and that on kid had almost knocked me down by dragging someone else's deer in and hollerin if you dropped your deer off you need to leave!! look out he said as he had already hit me with the deer an dragged it across my leg and foot at twisted my ankle an ripped my shoe off and didn't even apologize for it .the man I know runs the place wont mention names but you know who you are he just said ok and walked off!!! so I already donated my deer to hunters for the hungry since no fat to add to deer. I told him he just lost 5 long time customers

We have used Stroot's Lockers twice. We traveled 126 miles one way to take our home raised hog to be custom processed. As a swine producer for nearly 30 years, it is our expectation that the hog we deliver for custom processing, is the same hog that we will be bringing home to feed our family. We also like to evaluate our skills as a swine producer and feeder through the finished product. We enjoy sharing what we produce with our kids, grandkids, and friends. We take great pride in what we do and know how our hogs have been raised and fed. When Stroot's own website says, "...and when it comes from your hogs you know your 're getting quality." we believe them. Well we don't believe them anymore. On Friday Feb. 1st we delivered a small young sow to Stroot's that we intended to have made into several different kinds of Brats. My husband spoke with Fred on Sat. Feb. 2nd about how we wanted the sow processed and he asked questions about how they do things and different flavors of sausage. I called in the cutting order Monday, Feb. 5th. We picked up our order on Friday, Feb. 15th and paid for 108 lbs. of different kinds of Brats and sausage that were labeled with packaging dates from Jan. 11th through Jan. 18th. The label also has a weight and price and came from Goddard, Kansas. Our question is where did our hog go, and who's hog are we eating????? What a waste of our time, and we are so disappointed. How can these people be this deceptive?
