Springfield Inn

It's not fancy, but if you are on a budget it is a perfectly fine motel. It's clean and quiet. The mattress is very comfortable which is very important for me as I have severe back pain. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Watch out if you have pets that need to be taken on potty breaks as there is a nasty weed called goat heads in the grass .. they are brutally sharp and penetrate the pads of their feet. I did see a coffee maker in the lobby, but I'll be stopping by Starbucks on my way out of town in the morning. There is a bar of soap and plenty of towels, but no other complimentary toiletries such as toothpaste. I would stay here again. $60 total for a single king.

They were very polite both times we drove through and stayed here and had the best rates. Very clean and comfortable too!

This is not a high-end motel, so manage your expectations. However, if you are looking for VERY reasonablerates,easy access to get around Wichita, a large number of fast food/restaurants and a convenient grocery store, this place is great. Lots of well-let parking close to your room. The room came with a fridge and microwave. My favorite feature was the excellent water pressure in the shower. It did NOT take 10 minutes to rinse the shampoo out of my hair, as it did at the next, much more expensive hotel. Each staff member I encountered was warm, friendly and quick to respond to my requests.
