I cannot say enough good things about Spring Lake. This is our third visit here and I always look forward to this enjoyable peaceful Park. It has all the amenities as well as great Wi-Fi coverage throughout. Well maintained! Passport America is only $16 a night for 50 amp. Laundry room available to. We are sitting in a beautiful spot overlooking the pond. Gosh I love this place!

I visited Spring Lake resort as a child at least 35 years ago. It has expanded to offer additional RV sites. The park offers wifi, miniature golf, fishing, cabin rentals and movies. The park is dated but well kept. The park does have on site laundry. The newer sites offer little shade and are very close together for those who have double slide outs. The park does offer a Friday and Saturday night dinner and a Sunday non denominational Christian service. Very family friendly staff.

This park was ok. It seems to be 90% permanent residents. Our site had a lot of trash. Bottles, bottle caps, juice boxes, broken zip ties, and more. There was a pile of discarded charcoal just piled up in the grass. I noticed a fair bit of trash around the park when I walked my dog. The site was pretty level which was nice. It's a large park with several ponds that have lots of geese in them. Fun to watch. There's an off leash dog area.I didn't use the pool but did see people cleaning it and it looked nice. Bunch of kids there in the afternoon. The bathroom and showers weren't great. We were nearest the ones by the pool. The only privacy for the shower is the curtain between you and whoever else is in the bathroom. There's a hook but not really anywhere to put your stuff. You have to undress and dress in the shower unless you don't care about being nude in front of strangers. The toilet stalls had doors but the doors were so short that I could see the person's head/face that was sitting in there when I walked by.We only stayed 2 nights. They are a Passport America park so our fee was $16 a night.

After my very sour experience at another private RV park in Kansas (see review for Sycamore Springs, Sabetha, KS), this place was a welcome surprise. It is older but beautiful maintained. There are many sites, most with trees. I like the layout of the whole park, which is in different sections. Each section is separated by different fishing ponds and a small creek. Someone has put a lot of thought into this park. There are two shower houses which are older but have had fresh paint and are kept clean. The place is very family oriented. I imagine it gets pretty crowded in the summer. They are open year-round, which is a good thing to know for the campground this far north. There are many geese and goslings in and around the various ponds. They have social events, which is nice. Tonight they have two young female gospel singers, and tomorrow there will be an 8 AM coffee social and then a non-denominational Christian service. I am non-practicing, but I like the idea that the campground owners would take the time and trouble to have a preacher come out. I bought five farm-fresh eggs (scooped out of the nests while I waited at the door to the coop) for $1 at a small farm across the way. This shows how good an RV resort can be. Not glitzy, just well thought out and well maintained. There are good playgrounds and kids. This is the first RV campground where I have seen an African American family. There are several fish ponds in the private part of the park from which I suppose the owners stock the lakes. Good vibes where, decent price.

We are new to the RV world but have found Spring Lake to be a diamond in the rough! Love the sites, full hook ups and they have dinners, breakfasts, bingo, ice cream socials and church service. Awesome site!

This really looks like an awesome place for my family but we won't get to enjoy it because of breed restrictions... I can guarantee you that my dogs are more friendly then a good majority of dogs that stay in this park. Hopefully this rule will change someday so that we can stay.
