We had a fabulous meal across the board. My wife said the smothered pork chop was the best she had in many years. It was so tender she said she didn't have to chew. The tossed salad and chicken noodle casserole were very good. The pies are fabulous, we could argue for weeks about which one is best. My personal choice is coconut cream. Our server, Mason, was awesome and got everything right. The decor is American Midwest antique, very fitting. The price is very reasonable. We'll be back next week.

Of course the customer service is wonderful in the city of Wichita. I really enjoyed our waitress and she made sure to bring us extra condiments and napkins. Straws too. It wasn't busy for a Sunday morning; maybe because it was pretty cold outside and it was crazy early morning. I really enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast and enjoyed a slice of pie. The bakers who brought up the pies were very cheerful and I loved their attitude. Would definitely come back.

Can't leave a review at this time since after being sat and waiting for over 15mins no one came by. I had taken pictures of the menu since I didn't find any on here recently and figured I'd at least post them for others. We'll eventually come back to try the food! At that point I may update this!

We've been coming here for many years. The pies are always incredible!! My husband had a stroke this year and he made sure I knew he still wanted a pie from Spears!!!

Food was good the waitress was very rude and very unattentive. We never received a refill on our drinks. She stated she was very busy and had alot of tables. I am not sure where that was my fault. I guess she likes just working for her wage and no tips. That is what she received from me it was a Sunday at about 12:00 right after church. Hopefully she will change her attitude. I was on the side where it was the buffet. If the waitress does not have time to refill drinks put in a fountain where we can wait on ourselves or hire more workers. Sorry you have poor staff that just brings your business down. There was 7 of us at this table and 3 separate families. No one left her a tip. That is sad. Kathy H

What happened/happening to this place???? As a once stable reliable family restaurant, it is now a nasty establishment with poor quality and horrible service. Our most recent waitress acted as if she was coming down off of a drug binge. Management seemed unable/uncaring to correct issues. Check out the recent health dept inspections and you will see this place is clearly on the down slide. Simply, HORRIBLE
