If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my son's saxophone in to be serviced and cleaned. I was told it would take 10 days and I would have it back. 37 days later and several phone calls (one - two a week) with promises that it would be back that week I finally had it back. I don't know much about instruments so I trusted them that it was in working order. I picked the saxophone up on the 17th of November. The next Monday, the band instructor looked at the saxophone and stated that the bottom keys had not been adjusted but they didn't need those keys until next year so if we could wait to take it back until Christmas that would be best. We took the saxophone in for a second opinion to another shop today and the other shop stated that it looked like the saxophone had not been touched. I called Sparks Music and was told by the owner that he personally checks all repair tickets himself and it was in working condition. He said that the second shop was just trying to get money out of me and that if I bring the saxophone back to them, they would take care of fixing it. Not only will I not take it back to them to fix, I will never go back again. The owner told me that in the past 15 years of business he had not had any complaints, with customer service like this, I don't see how this is possible. In closing, DO NOT use Sparks Music. After talking with a few other people, this is not the first case of this. Instruments sitting in the back room for weeks, being wiped down and sent back as repaired. BEWARE. This was an $81.83 lesson that we learned the hard way. I will be taking my business elsewhere!!!
