I recently received a bracelet, and called to see if someone there could help me to find out information about it (stones used, metal used). Should it be was real, I would have had it turned into a pendant or ring of some sort. When I spoke to the gentleman who answered the phone, I asked him if he could give me some information about it. he replied "well I mean that doesn't keep my doors open". Sir, as a small business, it IS me that keeps your doors open. Just an appraisal alone could have got you at least $50.00 to help "keep your doors open", not to mention other sales that may have been made! Thanks, but no thanks. I'll do business elsewhere.

I had two rings sized. One was a more difficult job due to the stones and settings. They did a great job and the rings look beautiful. The work was quickly done and the price was great!

Watch repair was handled on the spot, in an efficient and friendly manner. Good work was done.

I have a watch that, while not high-end, has also be customized by a watchmaker who is no longer living, and the model is not longer made my the manufacturer. So, no, Tim, your services are not worth more than the "replacement value" because the watch is literally irreplaceable, a unique piece. My interpretation is that ya'll are just too much snobby to work on anything other than a Rolex or an IWC. I'll go to someone who wants my business, thanks.

I went in to ask if he could add a few links to my necklace to make it a bit longer. He said sure and that it would cost $130.00. WHAT?! I said no thanks. Went to Burnell's and they took great care of me and charged me $10.00. I will never set foot in Sparkle Jewelry again.

This guy is a filthy CROOK. Went in to get a silver ring sized. Everybody else in town charges $30, not this guy, by the time I saw my card charge it was too late to do anything, $125 for a thirty-dollar job. If you ever go there , take along your own lube, cause his has sand in it.

My fiancé and I received a special wedding ring from his grandfather that was from the marriage with his grandmother who passed. It was too big and we needed to get it resized and polished in order to use it. I contacted the owner about this and they said they would love to help us with the project. However when my fiancé contacted him to get sized FOR this project they said it was a "slap in the face" to them for not buying a new ring from them. Extremely insensitive.

Brought in a beautiful ring to size up a whole size. The owner said it only needed to be sized up a half size. I figured ok he must know what he's talking about. So it was 90$. But I can't always wear it if my hands are swollen. Also, he had to take out the stone to size it and there was a huge bunch of fibers stuck between one of the prongs and the stone. Took me a few days to get it cleaned out. On top of that, you could see the obvious ridge on the back where the work took place. After reading reviews I ended up at One Day Jewelry on N Amidon. OMG such great work! He sized it up to where I needed for only 35$. Plus he shined it up and you can't even see the ridge in the back any longer!
