Okay, I was starving, I'm guilty of running around all day, then realizing I'm dying of hunger. I saw an article about this place and it's near a rental house we have. It is cheap, classic, nothing fancy. I ordered a cheeseburger however they usually make it. Next time I would order a double cheeseburger with grilled onions because the raw notions were so heavy, but that was an easy removal. I'm okay with a little raw onion but the grilled onions would've made this something special! Since I only had a cheeseburger, I'm basing the review on the price, quick service, convenience, and that is is not a fast food chain. Definitely worth grabbing some burgers here over a big name like Braums.

Great place for a good old fashioned burger and fries. They have many menu items. The place is clean and fast.

One of Wichita's hidden gems. Best burgers in town, as far as I'm concerned. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

If you want a good burger you can't go wrong with South East Carryout. Contrary to the name you can also eat there, but I was amazed at how many people cameIn for to-go orders. Classic good burgers, good fries. Give it a try!

Good food, definitely recommend this place if your looking for a good burger, ordered the double cheeseburger combo with chili fries, perfectly cooked, will definitely be back.

Not fancy, just tasty! Party of 5, everyone enjoyed their meal. Open grill, friendly staff, accommodated changes to menu items. These are thin, quick cook patties, most sandwiches have them piled high with some awesome toppings. The chicken sandwich is a real deal thick, breaded breast. It looks like it's been there forever and could use a good scrub but A+ grub.

Quality of whattaburger for about the same price. The fries weren't my favorite and I wouldn't recommend the okra but all in all if I'm going for a burger I would go here and just not get the meal rather than a chain. Customer service was pretty good and there were a few other customers while I was in there and they got the orders out pretty quickly. Good stuff. Also they have both Coke and Pepsi so that's cool.

This little dive has been here for years, producing some of the best grease-laden burgers you'll sink your teeth into. Chomp away at artery-clogging goodness in each and every bite.The staff is friendly, helpful and if I'm not mistaken, family owned. Oh, and the hotdogs are delicious as well! The onion rings aren't hand breaded, which is a shame. The fries are decent but ok.

Southeast Carryout is a great spot to snag a burger and fries. Excellent customer service. Very affordable food. A great spot for a quick bite. Try the chili cheese fries on an extra hungry day you won't be disappointed.

Tried to use the Facebook link for a sandwich offer which said to call staff to get a code to enter. Was told I had to come in to get the offer. Not what the online offer says at all. Very disappointed.
