This was my first time visiting the winery, it is very well kept and has a very large outdoor patio area. The tables were all reserved which cost $10 per person which also when towards your first drink. Not knowing the wine the staff was very helpful in directing our group to the flavor pallet that we enjoyed. The had a live band or performer playing later in the morning but we left before that. Even with a large bus of people that showed up the area was fairly quiet and you really didn't notice the others. There is also a winery dog that will come over to get pets.

It's a great place to gather with friends. If you like lemon drop martinis as I do, then you will really enjoy the Citron. The ambiance and peacefulness of this place is fabulous. Jason's acoustic playing really adds to the ambiance.

Wow, what a GREAT winery experience - knowledgable staff, excellent wines, lovely venue, and great vibes provided by Jason on acoustic guitar on a beautiful Saturday afternoon . We enjoyed each wine we tasted - notably the Fly Boy and the Traminette. A ready-made cheese plate is available to purchase however we chose to build our own from the selections they had available. We decided to join their Wine Club for future purchases.

We had checked out Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery when we did our Louisberg Cider Mill outing earlier in the week. Little did we know we would impulsively come today with our Golden. Our Golden was in good company today. There were 5 Goldens while we were there and are least 5 more dogs of different breeds. So, if you are wondering if you can bring your dog the answer is obviously yes. Today Jason Kayne was providing enjoyable live (mostly acoustic) music. Both of us enjoyed a glass of wine while listening to his music. I did take the opportunity to do a tasting. To set your expectations, I've been to the CA wine country a couple of times and have wine regularly with friends and family. I care about what I drink, but don't break the bank in doing so. This being said, we enjoyed the Chardonel and were ok with the Ruby Red wines We've started to get into dessert wines. The Taeney port is very Whiskey forward and warms you up. The Ruby Red port is interesting and draws you back in, but the most surprising was the Citron. I went ahead and purchased a bottle as there was something special about it and if you consider you can make Lemon Drop Martinis and Margaritas with it. For an all around experience, we would be back and try to bring friends or family next time.

WOOOOW!! What a gorgeous serene setting, with so many flowers and hummingbirds flitting around! When we visited, we were the only people there, but the employees told us they have live music and food trucks on the weekends, so we'll definitely have to come back (although I have to admit it was super peaceful and nice to sit in the silence, listening to crickets and birds)The wine tasting provided samples of 8-10 different wines, and my favorite were the crisp, lightly sweet Riesling and the dry, complex, and dark Ruby Red. In reality, every wine we tried was super tasty and they have something for everyone here.My partner and I availed ourselves of the cold case, and grabbed some fig crackers and antipasto olives. There is a decent selection of cheeses and cured meats as well. The boutique/gift shop was cute and the vibes were great! Overall I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem!

$10 per person for four splashes of wine was a little pricey- but all the wine was very drinkable and good. Next time we will probably just go for a glass. I really liked the flyboy red, the citron, and the Buffalo red semi sweet. Nigelly was very nice and well informed about the wine and the grapes. We could hear the bottling process in the back, but outside on the patio it was quiet and we had a good view of the hills. They had heaters on the patio so it was comfortable to sit out. Overall a great place for a glass!

A beautiful winery with large outdoor seating and pet friendly. On the day we were there they had live music...very nice. The tables are nicely spaced and plently of room. There was a $10 cover charge per person to include a small glass of wine. I have been to many wineries in California, Virginia and elsewhere and first time to pay a cover charge. The wine is priced right. It is ok wine for the price.
