Plenty of ideas and old time goods bring back memories. Good assortment of packaged food, fresh fruits, veggies. It's like stepping back in time looking at the old time candies and when was a kid grandparents gave us these. We had bought a product from them several months ago, came back for more. The right people weren't there that day so couldn't find it. Asked Chris about it, he checked with the person and found it. Best part was he shipped it out to us. This is what I call customer service. A big Thank you Chris Barnes for going above and beyond.

Fun bulk foods & grocery store. So many choices in candy, jars of pickles, & bags of nuts. We bought candy by the pound ($7.99/lb)

This place is so fun to shop for fresh produce to old time candies. Be prepared to spend at least an hour there and leave with a bag full of goodies.

I love this locally owned shop! Not only can you grab fresh fruits and vegetables, you can find a variety of snack mixes, dried fruit, candy and more. Old fashioned toys, small business products and a plethora of unique sodas can be found here as well. Such a fun place to explore!

Is there a cuter store? I don't think so! We must have spent an hour or more just walking around looking at all the toys, produce and cans of pickled "this n that"! If you are in Hutch, give this place some love!

When did Smith's get so cool? When I was a kid, Smith's was a simple supermarket. It was very small, but my grandma said it has the best produce section of any other grocery store in town and she would often take me there on shopping trips. Because of the size of the place it didn't have everything you wanted and sadly, since it was so far down main street and off the main drag, it was often overlooked for the larger Dillon's stores. When I returned to Hutchinson last year for a visit, I was very surprised to see the bright and shiny makeover that Smith's has had! Everything is brand new and even the content has been vamped up. The produce is more organic now and there are vegetarian options (a rarity for Hutchinson) and lots of healthier options than your run-of-the-mill grocery store. Well, aside from their extensive candy selection which looked very fancy! If I lived in Hutchinson again, this would be a place I'd frequent often as they seem to cater more to the veggie crowd and also because I happen to like brightness and shininess. I was definitely dazzled by Smith's new look and I think it will breathe some new life into the southern end of Hutchinson. Way to go Smith's!

This place was so cool. It is fully of fresh fruits, local made jams and salsas. The old school toys and gifts were so much fun to look at as well. They also have fresh grass fed beef. I will be going back to try some of this or their local sausage. My daughters favorite part was their fresh fudge and candy selections. If you are in Hutch for the day this is definitely a stop you will want to make!

One of my favorite places to go. Feels like I stepped into an old fashioned store with a little bit of a modern twist.
