I discovered this little gem of a store in Lindsborg KS. The owners are Jim and Kathy Richardson. Jim is a native Kansan who developed into a long time National Geographic photographer. He has produced many wonderful stories and layouts over the years. The gallery exhibits prints from his travels all over the world. They make fine wall art for your home. Kathy is a talented craftsman who makes lovely jewelry. Stop in during open hours and one or both of them may be there to help you.

Amazing store with amazing people working there! Jim's photos are beautiful!Ibis Woman jewelry is affordable, high quality, one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are made right there in the store. They will custom make anything possible. I especially love the Swedish steamship token jewelry and the bezeled stones. They also have a nice selection of reasonably priced childrens books that are hand selected by the gallery staff to encourage the minds of young children. Books on science, art, Swedish heritage, are just some of the few. My grandkids love them! There are also hand made books/journals by Briana Zimmerling which you can't find anywhere else but Small World Gallery.A must stop for anyone headed through Lindsborg or through Kansas on I70.

This is a beautiful space with beautiful art in it. Jim Richardson's photography is incredible - featured in National Geographic (I'm not name-dropping, just describing), and Kathy's jewelry is super fun and elegant. This is a must-do in Lindsborg. www.smallworldgallery.net

Jim tweeted at me after I posted a photo from Lindsborg. I stopped by on my way back to Oklahoma and Jim and Kathy couldn't have been nicer. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and talked for an hour! Love the photography and jewelry. I highly suggest stopping by if you're near Lindsborg (Salina, KS) area. I'm not through often, but when I am I'll be back.

Don't miss seeing the work of National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson. When he is not traveling the globe on assignment, he works in his own small-town gallery called Small World. It's almost impossible to believe you can find this type of pro in a small Kansas town. Small World shows Richardson's work and sells limited edition prints and a huge assortment of greeting cards. His wife designs beautiful jewelry. I picked up a pair of earrings that I love. There is so much to chose from!

WOW! The photos that are displayed in here are so amazing to look at in person. I have seen the same photo in the magazine and it does not do the photo justice. Love looking at his photos. Also, his wife, who is in the shop making jewelry was a pleasant treat to meet.
