HAPPINESS!!!! This skating rink was the purpose of my existence when I was in grade school and junior high. And sadly, a bit of high school as well. My grade school friends and I LIVED for Saturday nights when we could go to Skateland, where'd skate in a circle to New Kids on the Block songs for hours. I have so many happy memories of couple skates, melty ice cream sandwiches, and smacking face first into the concrete walls because I didn't know how to stop with my skates. My 12th birthday party was here. Our 7th grade lock-in was here. My first boyfriend and I had our first kiss here. I haven't been back to Skateland since I was about 15 years old, but I'd love to tie on a pair of skates and get out on the rink again!

they don't have insurance if you have a accident. i was told this by the owner. he said he can't afford it, and if he did he would have to close it down.

Don't allow your young teenage daughter to go here unsupervised. The manager allows young men to touch these girls and doesn't do anything about it, but gets mad at the parents when they call theestablishment. Manager told the young girl and her aunt that it wasn't his problem and as a "young pretty girl, you'll have to suck it up." Said that the young man that was doing it was special needs, FYl: as a special education teacher, MY STUDENTS know how to not sexually harass young girls.

I skated her when I was little a fun place to be and now I work here.it's fun for kids to come and hang out with friend's and family friendly.

This is the best skating rink. It has a small home town feeling but the rink floor and concessions is top notch! It is a great place for a family outing or birthday party. The owner is very easy to work with and great at hosting Scout skating parties and helping the boys earn belt loops and merit badges. He has a top notch crew that works for him and you know safety comes first then comes lots AND LOTS of FUN FUN FUN! Definitly a great family fun place to visit and enjoy!!
