We called around looking for someone to do an alignment on our van, they were the first business to be able to get us in the same day. So we went with them. They were friendly and told us it would be a couple hours, an hour later they called and said that we needed to replace a bolt that was bad and told us the price. We agreed and another hour later they called us to pick up our van. They were true on their time quote and delivered. They are a little bit expensive but not overly, after all you are paying them for their experience. We would of never know that bolt was bad or where it even went. You pay for experience with good mechanics.

If there were 0 stars that's what I would've put. Absolutely terrible how they jack up the prices when they see a little old lady. My godmother went in to have her brakes inspected and they confirmed that it was bad and needed replacement. 450 bucks later and all they did was the rear drum brakes on a Chrysler PT Cruiser. How do you sleep at night knowing this? There's no way parts and labor for rear drum brakes cost that much. Please be mindful when going to this place because they will gouge you! Absolutely terrible!!!

After being a customer with Shamrock for over 10 years, and having numerous mechanical work done. We had been satisfied until recently when we had taken our car in when we found oil in the radiator and told the mechanic to have it fixed. A valve cover gasket was changed, per the mechanic, which we just found out it didn't need. We kept telling the mechanic about the oil in the radiator and the oil leak numerous times and this last time the car was in the shop, we took him outside and removed the radiator cap and had shown him what had been occurring over the last few months after he initially "repaired" the oil leak. He finally admitted he didn't check the radiator that we kept telling him about. Now, it's costing us over $1,100 to repair the job which should have been done in the first place and lost nearly $600 in a repair that we didn't need to correct the problem. They have a new manager who charges for every little thing when previously it was to be covered under their warranty. We can honestly say that now we REFUSE to go back after finding out that we weren't listened to in the first place and wouldn't honor a warranty. Also, the last time we went in and had work done, we were charged an outrageous fee for shop supplies. Don't get me wrong, I can understand a nominal fee, but not the fee of $15 for something that maybe used a rag and a hand tool which I'm sure that they had. We also asked for a ride home which when we went in previously, they gave us a ride home. This last time we were told that there was no one that had a valid license other than one of the mechanics and the guy behind the counter writing a ticket for the repair job, and he wouldn't give us a ride home. We were told to either get a ride or walk home.We can also add that they do not have the equipment to completely flush out the radiator from the mess that they caused. They were good about oil changes, but now after all of this mess................We now have a new mechanic that has straightened out the problems with our vehicle that Shamrock didn't do in the first place.UPDATE: After getting the car back, we found that Shamrock overlooked another problem that isn't as costly, but should have been caught earlier.

I'm giving this repair shop 5 stars - almost based solely on how much trust I have with this shop.I have a 2000 Toyota Camry that has over 150,000 miles on it. I've taken it everywhere, and I insist on driving this car until the wheels fall off!Since I've had my Camry, I've had to take it in for various repairs, including but not limited to: Alternator repair, rotor repair, water pump, radiator install, brakes, etc. As a woman, I'm always hesitant when it comes to trusting a car mechanic with my car, because statistically, we're usually the demographic that gets overcharged. Not so with Shamrock. If I ask for an estimate, they never change what they tell me when it's time to pay. I've even had friends go in and ask about an estimate on the same type of repair, and they get the exact same price as I do.They've always been very courteous and respectful, and I never feel like I'm getting a raw deal when I deal with these guys. They are truly on the up and up!I trust Shamrock Tire and Repair shop, and that's saying a lot these days!

I have been taking my cars to shamrock for a couple of years now. I have never had such amazing service! Today was the ultimate test of their service and the reason why their customers are loyal. I took my vehicle in for a normal oil change and afterwards drove it about 3 miles and it just stopped running. I called back up . The shamrock and they sent a mechanic out to meet me. I looked at it and waited with me for the tow truck. Back at the shop, their mechanics took excellent care of me and had me back on the road in no time! I work in my vehicle and their immediate attention and cursory service was phenomenal. Thank you so much guys! I will continue to bring my vehicles he for a long time to come!

I took my car to Shamrock on Monday telling them my water pump is going out and it's making noise and there's a crack in my radiator. I drop it off and it's still making the noise. I waited for them to come out and listen to it and they didn't come out and listen. Told me they'd take care of it. I left because they should know. They're mechanics right? They call back the next day saying there's nothing wrong aside from my cracked radiator which I knew about and I can pick it up when the radiator is done. I was like uh, no? It's literally my water pump as well. I have the noise on video and I told you when I dropped it off. They made me out to be some stupid girl who doesn't know about cars but boy were they wrong. my father and brother went up there a few hours later because I couldn't that day and spoke to the service manager Josh who laughed in their faces and said my water pump isn't serpentine driven, when it is, and that it's 100% not the water pump. Tried to show him a video of the noise and he said he heard the noise and it's not the water pump. Said that the direct injection engines are just loud on this engine when I don't have direct injection. The turbo edition of my car does but I don't have the turbo therefor there's no direct injection. I don't know if he just calls things by their incorrect name but it's not direct injection. He must of picked that up during his first 5 years of "experience" out of the 25 he claims he has. he SWEARS he's "done thousands of these" and "knows more". It's not very comforting to have the person who works at the place you're leaving your car at incorrectly name parts of the engine and dismiss your concerns that are valid and the root of the issue. It got to the point where he was arguing and implying they're stupid because he works at shamrock and they don't. Nobody was being rude to him, they simply just asked for him to look at the water pump again because it's a very common problem with my year and model of car and that's most certainly where the noise is coming from. We all know how my car sounds normally, we all know what a water pump sounds like when it's going out. Hell even my mother knew the noise when she heard it and she can barely change a tire. (Sorry mom) when josh clearly was uneducated about the part and how it worked he was called out on it and he turned the conversation into a pissing match because according to him "I've done thousands of these and I know how it works. If you know so much why don't you do it." And even told my brother "i don't know what your relationship to this car is but I've been dealing with Dave (our father) for years" he's his son! Are you kidding me? Then he tells my brother to not come back and he hopes he never has to talk to him again. All of this could of been avoided if the dude said "okay I'll check it out" when we voiced our concern but instead he decided to argue, insult and swear up and down how right he was with his 25 years of experience. His 25 years of experience doesn't mean shit to me when he also couldn't tell there's an aftermarket thermostat and says "that thermostat is from the factory" when it wasn't.They call on Wednesday to "apologize" to ONLY my father and not my brother for the behavior and that they changed the radiator and are waiting for it to cool down to see if there's a noise and I can pick it up later. Whole day goes by and they don't call. I drove by while on an errand and saw my car on the lift and thought that's odd. I thought it was done. they call me yesterday and say well it made the noise and it's the water pump. And I'm like you don't say? I was told multiple times by your service manager it was 100% not the water pump and my family was basically made into a joke. Radio silence. They tell me they're gonna change it out and I'll have it by noon on Saturday. What a fucking joke they are. They should drop auto repair from their name because clearly tires is all they're good at. The service manager needs an attitude and ego check. I don't care if you've been doing it for 25 years, you were fucking wrong in a lot of ways my guy. I also find it funny how after he discovered it was indeed the water pump Josh magically wasn't the one calling me anymore, when he's the one I've dealt with the entire time and any previous time My family members or I have gone there. Guess he doesn't want to face me knowing that 3 people who he said "knows nothing" were actually right and he looks like a egotistical dbag. F#*% shamrock tire and auto. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a shop that used to take parts off cars, spray paint them and tell the customer they put new ones on. (Do they think Wichita forgot about that?) It's also partly my fault for trusting them after my first two bad experiences. I got my car back and it now sounds worse than it did before I dropped it off. It can't find a steady idle, the water pump is wobbling and rattling around and now there's a huge bumper gap

We travel the country in our RV. We were in Kansas, as we are frequently, visiting our son. As we were getting ready to hit the road again, my husband noticed one of our front tires was low. The "air machines" at the gas station that you use on your car tires is low pressure. Big rig tires are high pressure - so we needed a different option. After calling truck stops to no avail, Mike thought he would try some tire shops. He called Shamrock Tire and was pleasantly surprised to get a "sure, come on over". We arrived at the shop and were told to "pull around back and I'll get someone to help you". We did and he did. A young man came out and not only checked and filled the tire in question, but checked and filled ALL the tires on our coach. We tow a jeep behind our rig and he did those tires as well. When my husband asked for the bill he was told there was "no charge"! Now that people is GREAT customer service. Our tires are fine now, but in the future when we need new tires on our RV, we know where we will come.....Shamrock Tire in Wichita, KS.

These guys are great!! I have gone to them since 2004, and will continue to return to them. They are truthful, and straight forward, down to earth group. Being a woman often I get treated like I don't know my way around the mechanics of a car, which is not true. However with the guys here they have never made me feel that way. Genuine nice guys, small town courtesy and atmosphere, with great prices!!
