Scrambled Sam's

We were looking for a place to get some breakfast and Scrambled Sam's came up and so glad we did. Home cooked food- simply done and done well. Friendly service and cute decor. So glad we stopped in.

I was in town for an archeological dig, this was one of the many local business that opened their arms to a town of odd people who love the dirt. We had a delightful breakfast and coffee. First, the coffee. It was so good it didn't need anything added to it. So that was a pleasant surprise. My eggs were perfect, my potatoes crispy, my sausage patty was great, and my wheat toast was perfect. If I find myself in this town again this will be the breakfast spot for sure.

Great breakfast place! Try their fresh pork rinds and pick up a bottle of their Pepper Plant sauce. Amazing!

Fantastic surprise breakfast stop! Great food and fabulously friendly service!! Might even drive here from Newton just for the experience. But go early! They close at 1:00.

Sam and his crew are the best! Great breakfast or burgers! The biscuits and gravy are my favorite alongside anything or by themselves. They also have the best coffee in town and will fix a go cup. Pleasant atmosphere and great food. Friendly folks who make you feel right at home. I love the Western Omelet, with a little salsa on top.
