The front desk staff are very friendly and courteous. They treat you like family would.

If it was possible to give NEGATIVE stars, this place would get 'em. I have never been in a more filthy hotel in my life! We're talking cigarette burns in the curtains, urine-stained comforters, water spots on the ceilings...the place reeks of smoke and sweat. Sure it's cheap...and for good reason! Stay away!!!

This place is now Sunflower Inn. My family and I came up for the fair. I had booked rooms here only because it was the last place available. Rooms are very outdated. Not clean up to my standards, which are high. It was extremely hot and stuffy when we got to the room. Weird smell. I immediately turned on the AC. My opinion, if a hotel knows a guest is coming, the AC should be on and have the room comfortable upon arrival. The toilet rim looked worn. Upon inspection, I realized it was dried on feces. I applied soap and cleaned it myself! When my kids and I prepared for bed, I turned back the blankets to inspect the bed and sheets, I was horrified! The sheets were soiled with bodily fluids which looked like anything from feces to urine to semen stains! The pillow cases were soiled and had hairs stuck on them! I immediately called the front desk and demanded clean sheets, blankets and pillow cases for the two beds in my room. I showed the manager the stains and said it was absolutely DISGUSTING and unacceptable. He is very nice, and so is the other woman who works here. Unfortunately, they desperately need housekeeping. I never once had a housekeeper come by or saw one in existence. I will not stay here again.

This place is called the Sunflower Inn now and the people that work there are nice. I think I met the owner once too. The rooms are kept at a 80's standard but very clean and comfortable. For needing a remodel bad this place is actually quiet, safe and I always sleep well when I stay here. Bathroom needs completely revamped too, but again, clean.
