Salon Z

Came in for a Keratin treatment after making an appointment in-person 2 days previously. The woman at the front desk booked me for the appointment, and after looking at my hair said that the stylist would do a strand-test on my blonde hair prior to the treatment. I came in for the appointment (after spending $23 on Ubers round-trip) and the stylist said they do not do Keratin on previously-lightened hair. That's a fine policy to have, but the stylists and front desk need to get on the same page in order to not inconvenience (time-wise and financially) potential paying customers.

Betty and her crew at Salonz have been taking care of my family and I for about 5 years, whether it's a basic hair cut or hair color to my mani pedis.We always get great compliments. I highly recommend Salonz

Miranda was able to squeeze me in for high and low lights even though I called on such short notice. She did an amazing job, the color looks so beautiful. I also enjoyed her company for the couple of hours I was there. For that matter, everyone in the shop was very friendly. I actually live in Texas but I was so pleased with her work that if my work brings me to Wichita again I will definitely have to make another appointment.

We went in super last minute for a brow wax- and you know how scary it can be trusting a new person with your precious brows! They squeezed us in fairly quickly and were really friendly despite closing in about 15 minutes. She waxed the brows perfectly! The salon was decorated very nicely, cozy and clean. It's located close to our house too so this may be our new go-to place for eyebrow waxing!

If I could give a half star I would, Ive been going there for years been paying 30$ With tip for a simple fade haircut. I went in today and was charged 50 dollars for a cut that took less than 20 minutes....

I was very impressed with my cut and color. This was the first time that Betty had met me and she asked me several questions. When she was coloring it, there was quite a bit of blonde left, and I was going back to red/brown and I was worried about that. Betty knows what she's doing, and when she was done my hair was exactly the color and style that I wanted. I came home and told my husband for the very first time in my life, I was happy and thrilled with my hair. That never happens!

I went here in October and got a haircut from Avery. I showed him a picture of my bangs before I let them grow out. I asked that he cut rounded bangs back in, no layers, leave the length and trim the ends. He couldn't do rounded bangs he just kept cutting a line and not framing my face. I asked him to try to fix it twice but they were getting so short I stopped saying anything before he cut them completely off. I had to go to another salon to get them evened out. One side was below my eyebrow and the other a good half inch above my eyebrow. It looked like I did it at home by myself without a mirror. The other salon couldn't put the style in that I wanted because he cut them so short. I had to wear headbands for months to cover up how awful they were. I asked for no layers and technically I don't think that's what he did, because my hair has so many different lengths in so many different places. It's like he didn't know how to trim hair so he just grabbed random sections and cut parts off. The picture is showing three very different lengths from the same small section of hair. And he couldn't cut straight either because the back of my hair is an absolute mess. It's embarrassing. I've been growing my hair out for over three years and he absolutely destroyed it. I've been continuing growing it out in the hopes that eventually it will be long enough that I can go to a different salon and have them fix it without losing too much of it.Edited to say that I would not have come back there to have it "fixed" as the woman in the chair next to me was had been there the day before. She was there again that night because she had gotten her hair messed up by someone, and was getting it "fixed" by someone else. This says to me that the other stylists at the salon could have potentially been just as bad and I wasn't willing to risk it after already having a terrible experience.

Salon Z is the best salon in Wichita!! Went in for my haircut..... The place is clean and it's friendly. The best haircut I've ever received. Even got a shampoo and didn't ask for it!! I definitely recommend Salon Z for all your hair and beauty needs

Received the worst haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life. Adriene was my stylist and she didn't know how to cut bangs or layers so she had another stylist come and explain it to her. The other stylist basically did it all for her, the only thing left was to blow dry and curl my hair. I couldn't tell how bad my bangs were because they were wet. Adriene then blow drys my hair (not completely) and then curls it with a flat iron awfully while there's a curling iron sitting two feet away from her. My hair starts smoking because it's still wet so she blow drys it the rest of the way. My bangs at this point are 1/3 of the way dry when she stands there and stares at them, probably realizing that she just destroyed them and that they didn't look anything like the 50+ pictures I showed her. She dries and irons them and then takes the cape off me. I told her they were too long and didn't look wispy at all. She proceeds to cut my bangs into my lap because she's too lazy to put the cape back on and cuts them comparably to micro bangs, NOT what I asked for AT ALL. She turns on the blow dryer and starts blowing hot air into my face to get the hair off of me and then walks to the counter and says that it's time to pay, not asking me if it looked okay or anything. I panicked and with tears rolling down my face I paid for it and then went and had a break down in my car. Would not recommend at all saying as there was ANOTHER girl who also cried while getting her hair done because she hated it. I have no idea how this place is even still in business.

This is definitely hair salon, the environment is very professional, friendly, the establishment is easy to be located, very clean, the perfect Salon for all ages, they have personals capable to work all your needs. I definitely recommend this amazing Salon to all my friends and family.
