Ended up staying here since the hotels near the interstate were booked due to military exercises. I'll agree with most of the review I read earlier, but at 2 in the morning you take what you can get. The good: - VACANCY!!!!! - Price - Free breakfast - Waffles, toast, cereal, coffee (not much, but it's free)The bad: - Room definitely had a musty smell. - Sheets felt damp. - There is an old CRT TV, but I didn't even turn it on. - Parking lot potholes are dangerously huge. - Pool and spa have been permanently closed. - Restaurant closedThe ugly: - Ceiling tiles in the common are are in need of repair - Roof leak (possibly AC related) near front doorI'm sure at some point this was a really nice hotel with a large open area in the middle but it need some serious TLC.

I do not know how on this lovely planet this hotel was ranked 2 stars on Yelp and 3 stars on Google. This hotel is something straight out of the movie Vacancy, and trust me, I looked for places bad guys might be hiding and ways to escape if needed. Not kidding.1. First impression was an ill-lit parking lot riddled with potholes with a group in the far back corner huddled around something, a lone male walking along on the other side of the lot, and a couple driving slowing glaring at us as we parked the car.2. Once you walk in, you don't get any sort of feeling this place was set up to be a hotel. It feels like the gathering center of a community college or like an empty version of the library from The Breakfast Club. It just wasn't right. 3. The rooms were not cared for - in our room one black out blind was dangling and unsecured on one side, the tub looked used and not clean. We were provided a room at the far back corner, dimly lit area of the hotel. There was a back entrance and our door was the first one upon entering. The hotel was nearly empty as evidenced by the many open blinds and dark rooms plus nearly empty parking lot. Why were we being shoved in this back, seemingly unsafe corner???? Add to that, our door closed and locked, but felt loose (thought it did not unlock).

Wow. This was interesting. Booked this hotel online. Pics looked great and the price was good for a 3 Star Hotel. When we arrived it looked like the place was closed. When I walked into the lobby I noticed a bucket catching water from the ceiling. The gift shop was empty and it smelled like mildew. I checked out my room and it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The lowered ceiling in the bathroom was sagging from water damage, the paint was scuffed, it stank like mildew and urine. The hotel is huge but had no people in it. It reminded me a bit of these "abandoned mall" videos on Youtube. This was a really cool place at one time and would be great if you want to show your kids how large hotels used to look like in the early 90s. The hotel has a huge pool that was closed. A sign at the access to the pool read that it was closed since 2017. The hotel had a bar that was permanently closed, an Irish pub that was permanently closed and a gym that had equipment in it that looked like it came from a yard sale.Needless to say, this is NOT a 3 Star Hotel. I bet it was one at one time but that was before I was in Junior High.Don't make the same mistake as me and trust the pictures. Ended up at Courtyard which is awesome.

For people like my wife and I that are on a budget and simply looking for a comfortable bed, a hot shower, a great continental breakfast, a safe & clean environment, and exceptional employees, you can't beat this place! For roughly $50 we got all that! Not to mention how blessed we were by the personal touch of each of those employees we encountered.

So to be honest I only got a room here because I was going against my better judgement on the reviews. I book online which came out to 43.00 cheapest I ever paid for a room but honestly I book rooms often so Priceline is the way to go if u travel a lot . I looked for stuff the people said on bad reviews. I didn't notice a smell r see any mold. Anyways I started talking to the staff a couple came asking about Wi-Fi and asked if they can move to the front the lady was nice and said that shouldn't be a problem. I requested to be in a nice room and not a room that was bad. She was clueless. Anyways I go to my room 1st thing it's decent the doors are loud a d old, tv is box tv. No Pool. I felt like I was in a haunted hotel. It was empty. For some reason everyone that checked in was moved to the back. Honestly not a bad place for 1 night stay ..the bed is awesome . again I didn't notice a smell r mold. Disnt notice bed bugs, didn't smell weed, no one was loud, my worked in my room, toilet wasn't stoped up, shower was good, towels were clean .It has a uniqueness to it .

Very POOR customer service. Upon arriving to make the reservation front desk was unaware of how to charge for cash and not the debit on file. She was rudely implying that I might steal from the hotel and a security deposit was required but only from "suspected thieves" BS. After seeing our room, we called to request a room with a better tv, she claimed none were available. Saw many available on the way to lobby and asked to be switched to it and she refused even with another security deposit. DONT STAY HERE

Wow what a dive!! The place had about 5 cars in the lot. The holes on the parking lot were big enough to engulf a small car. The light in the parking lot were mostly out and the ones that worked were flickering on and off. It he room smelled like mold and mildew. The white bathtub was so stained it looked orange. The TV was a old tube style that kind of worked but not really. One star is very generous. Don't stop here. In fact don't slow down when you drive by.

Upon arriving, the location is extremely convenient to I-70 W. Important, because we're traveling through to CO and leaving very early the next day! The lady on check in was very quick and friendly. We received our keys with no issue and at an "unbelievable" rate. Coming to the room, it was understood why. The room smelled of severe mildew. Everything was outdated. Linens were faded and smelled as they had been sitting in the room since it was last "cleaned". The shower felt like it was broken, would break through at any point, and had been patched on the bottom. The ceiling in the bathroom was caving in where the lights were installed. Still okay. Ish......The kicker!!We left for the evening to check out the town and we were gone for about 3-4 hours. Came back, put our key in, the door didn't register the key and STILL OPENED! It was never locked and will only lock from the inside for obvious reasons. We tried from the outside, without a key card and the door opened. No problem. Several times. What was, I'm sure at one time, a booming business, is now a dirty, dingy, and unsafe location. We will NOT be staying again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone no matter your budget.

Little dated. First night here someone was arrested, but that's not the hotel's fault. Overall good stay, clean room, and budget balanced.

Truly, it deserves zero stars for the misleading title of 'hotel.' This place is straight out of a Stephen King novel. It appears to be mostly empty and everything from the ceiling tiles to the carpet are run down to the point of abandonment. Flickering light bulbs, musty mold scent, and a forlorn staff caused my husband and I to run out of here as fast as we could. The pool? You mean the parasite infested lagoon? It was moldy, dirty, and obviously hasn't been maintained in a long time. The rooms are painted red with a 1990's Zenith tv with one channel. I know management has been responding to reviews with apologies and promises of improvement. Don't be fooled! A horror movie set would be more fitting for this place than a spot where people stay overnight.
