A friend bought a used ford from them. I thought the ride was pretty rough and needed work. Sadly, he passed away, and his vehicle would be repossessed. I checked what it was worth, and all checks came back between 8 and 9 thousand. He owed over 19 thousand. Good old rusty ripped him off big time to the tune of over 10 thousand.

Horrible Experience, Do NOT do business with these people. My used car still has dealer plates on it and here are the issues. Keep in mind, I am in the military and got stationed to a new location, they promised things would get fixed but refuse to call me back. 1. Second set of car keys was promised.2. Crack in the windshield.3. They charge a fee in your paperwork for having the car "Detailed". The car was so dirty we found a full Kong dog toy between the seats. 4. USB ports don't work.5. Lights on the console flicker and go out.6. Back up camera has got the blue screen saying error. 3 times already. 7. Lane assist frequently says not usable.

Rusty Eck Ford service department is a bunch of crooks! charged me separate diagnostic fees to look at my transmission and engine, then told me they both need replaced based on checking the transmission fluid, and reading the oil pressure @ idle. didn't drop the transmission pan to check the filter, didn't run a compression tests on the cylinders, didn't look at the coolant. They also told my warranty company that they there were no seals in the transmission which would be really hard to know without taking the transmission pan off and actually looking at it! What a bunch of crooks!

I am in need of a new vehicle, so Saturday I went online to see what was a what was in my price range and what I could do. As soon as I left the web sight I got a text and a phone call that I politely ignored. Come Monday was another call that was not answered because I'm not ready to purchase and I'm at work (the reason for shopping online) come Tuesday another call!!!!! Answered telling "Corn" I was simply browsing I appreciate his time and I would let him know when I was ready to purchase. I shit you not!!!!! Who called me Wednesday afternoon? "Corn"!!!!! Really???? I understand that you are sitting at a desk with no one on your lot but this is just coming down to harassment. I am at work answering Corns call because he has nothing to do when I am actually working, to remind him that we Spoke yesterday and after him telling me he was going to make a note not to call again, mmmmm should that not of happened yesterday? If I was going to purchase a car it would not be from this desperate place. I don't appreciate being harassed because I was doing a little online shopping! If this is what it is like to deal with a car lot these days I keep what I'm driving, or deal with a company that not hard up for a sale!! I will never steep foot in this place or deal with anyone who works here. There is a difference between difference between doing a job and begging!!!

Last time we weren't sure what we wanted and he was very gracious as showing us several different vehicles. I am hoping that someone somewhere that is not a salesman by the name of Karsten or Marcus sees this, responds and does the lawful, honorable, and right thing so that I can improve my rating. However, for the time being, I am disappointed that google hasn't yet made it possible to give a 0 star rating because that is what is warranted at present. My daughter, just 18, made her very first used car purchase just before Thanksgiving 2024. She loves her purchase, however, at the time of purchase the vehicle was presented and sold with a broken windshield. (A ticket-able offense in Kansas). As part of her sales contract she was promised a replacement windshield. She was instructed that someone from service would contact her to schedule the replacement. However, whether due to the holidays, or what I don't know, she was never contacted and now, in January - they are refusing to honor the commitment made despite it being in the contract! When we reached out, we were told there was a 30 day window, but that was never mentioned at the time of the sale. Ironic to me because she also had to follow up just to get the title in time to be able to legally tag the vehicle before the temporary tag expired. I am not sure how Rusty Eck hopes to endure if this is genuinely the way they intend to conduct business. I have lived in Wichita and the surrounding areas nearly 40 years now, and I can personally attest to the fact I will be letting every single person that I know where NOT to buy a car if they need one.

Shady! They don't have prices on the cars except a QR code. I recommend scanning it yourself to see the price from the website. I know for a fact they will try to raise the price on a vehicle before they bring the paperwork out to you. Whatever they can get away with. Salesmen will claim they "don't know the price but can find out". ANYONE can find out with a smart phone scan of the QR code on the window sticker. I've seen thousands added to the final prices of vehicles because the customers didn't know. Speaking as a former employee! They WILL take advantage of you! Go somewhere else! They are extremely shady!

It will do anything to sell you a car even if it's lying cheating running after you to promise you one payment and then a month later you are so jacked because you started out with a 18,000 car and a year later you owe $24,000 on it you can't even refinance it because you're already almost 8,000 upside down on it it's sad it's a shame my car is 10 years old and I'm paying I'm making 670 a month payments I should be driving a brand new vehicle for that so then they tell me to come up they would do a trade in and then they just looked at me and pretty much left said there's no way unless you put like five or six thousand down we can't help you cuz you're too far upside down and what is the reason I'm upside down because y'all lied to me you all cheated me and totally screwed me on a freaking vehicle that was not even nowhere near worth what I owe on it now plus it was 5,000 to 8,000 over the Blue Book to begin with they shouldn't be in business you know now it makes people wonder is there any fair car dealerships out there so buyer beware cuz they will tell you that you're going to your payments are going to be this and then a month and a half later when they finally find someone to finance you and you get all your information on how much you owe by that time you've already had the car and it's b******* it's not right
