I want to clarify an address error, on google it's showing location 4-5miles away from downtown. This place is actually located in downtown Wichita.I visited Roxy's to watch Headwig and the Angry Inch... great musical, really well presented, acted and the sound tracks were amazing. There is no food so I'd advise you to grab dinner prior to. Wine and drinks are limited and served in plastic cup due to Covid apparently. I wasn't impressed with food or drinks not acceptable for a theater. Service was super slow, my table was empty and the table behind me was also empty. My server had just about 4-5 people to serve yet I had to constantly wave her down to order drinks or snacks. Come for the musical nothing else!

Great show with Karla Burns in Hi-Hat Hattie. Karla and pianist Huron Breaux presented Hattie McDaniel's story through her songs that entertained the world. The heartfelt story of Hattie's life interwove through the struggles of the times. Totally enjoyed hearing and seeing Karla bring Hattie McDaniel to us. Both the singer and musician enjoyed presenting this incredible story. It showed. Excellent. The food tasted surprisingly good. I would gladly eat at Roxy's again. Fun night!

Outstanding local theatre with a great setup. We went and saw The Golden Girls and the show was awesome. This is a place you want to experience if you enjoy live events in Wichita. The only issue with the evening was the staff. It took over 20 mins to get our first drinks and only saw our server 3 times total during the evening. That was the only issue and does not stop me from strongly recommending this place.

Roxy's is a really cool performance space. Even though it is located downtown right on Douglas, it is still fairly hidden. When you climb the stairs you enter a whole new world. A classic looking theater type space with comfortable tiered seating makes it so there isn't a bad seat in the house. I've attended comedy shows, informational talks, and live theater performances here and they were all wonderful. There is also a full bar to satisfy all of your alcohol needs.

More people need to visit Roxy's! They support live performance! Theatre, comedy, music and community events. It's a hidden gem and I hope to see more events at this insanely beautiful venue. Their drinks are good, their wait staff is SO FRIENDLY and they have yummy meat and fruit trays!

This was my first visit to Roxy's. My wife was in drama and theater in college in Tulsa so she was excited to experience Roxy's for the first time. I applaud the facility, the sound system, lighting and the service. Also impressed with the subtle delivery by the live orchestra. They delivered just the right undercurrent of sound to complement the onstage activities, without masking it.We went to see "Into the Woods" musical (8/2/24). Unfortunately we did not like it. My wife commented, "Geez, this is like a junior high school play". It was highly fragmented. Impossible to follow any story line. Jumped around like a kangaroo on a bed of coals. Dialogue was very easy to understand with the sound system, but we could not understand any of the vocals being sung. We left at intermission. But will be back to hopefully catch a better performance and story, since so many praise the Roxy. The upcoming Golden Girls will be our choice to revisit since it should have continuity in its delivery.

My sister and I had a great afternoon at Roxy's. We went to a matinee performance and the show was awesome, the food was good, and the company was the best! When you're looking for a musical afternoon adventure in Wichita, think Roxy's.

Was sent to wrong spot by stupid Google and even though it wasn't their fault they gave me a free ticket for another night! You don't see this from a business very often. Will definitely recommend!

It was hard to decide what rating to give Roxy's as the show was amazing. We saw Hocus Pocus on 10/20/19. The weight staff and the food were very lacking. We initially ordered waters and an alcoholic beverage. Got the waters but never the other drink. Had to ask for it again. And we had initially told them that we were still looking at t he menu on what food we want to order but the wait staff never came back to take the order so we had to flag them down. We ordered the fig, bacon and mushroom flatbread, the Spanish chicken and rice and the black cat chow (like puppy chow with the Chex cereal). I wish I had taken other pictures. The flat bread for $8 was very, very small and was cold. The Spanish chicken and was there was a lack of chicken, the rice was mushy, and just a general lack of flavor overall, even after adding salt and pepper. I am a home cook and could do better than this!!! People around us had to ask for their food, drinks, and drink refills over and over. A friend got to the theater about 5 minutes after the show started and they would not let her in, even though you purchase your ticket in advance. If it was because it would be disruptive - the wait staff were way more disruptive! They came to get payment for our food and drinks toward the end of the show and we missed part of the ending detailing to the waitress who was paying for what and running our debit/credit cards. This was our first visit. The quality of the show would be worth returning for but I suggest eating elsewhere. Also...for about the same ticket price you can go to Mosley Street Melodrama, enjoy a show that is equally entertaining, and get a meal included!!!
