Small town charm and great comfort food. Rowdys has the usual small town favorites that always taste great. The price is right too!

Its hit and miss with this place we ate here 2 weeks ago and ordered prime rib, it was nice and big and tender to cut, we ate here Saturday night again and had a friend drive a hour to eat with us,and the prime rib turned out tough to cut and was not the same as it was 2 weeks ago.I complained to the waitress that they were tough and she didn't seem to want to do any thing about it,my king cut looked like a med cut while the others also orders king cuts were huge,I again complained to the server that my cut was not very big,she did not ask to take it back ,I was very disappointed, my potatoes were cold, and I didn't say anything as I figured they would do nothing, it will be a long while before we go back.

Rowdy's is your classic example of a small-town favorite. It has the look and feel of a church basement and was packed to the brim on a Saturday night.I had the reuben with tater tots. The reuben was the perfect size and salty, with just the right amount of meaty tang. The tater tots were a little overdone and seemed to have more breading in them than potato, though.My mom had the Elephant Ear, or chicken-fried steak (the dish for which Rowdy's is known), which also had a little too much breading on it. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try the Mountain Oysters on the appetizer menu. I haven't had them in a while but I would guess there is too much breading on those, too - although in that case, nobody's complaining!

While visiting Beatrice for my husband's work, we decided to take a Cyrene on Rowdys. Pleasantly surprised! The three of us had ordered different things; a steak, pork chop, and beefed shrimp. Each of us was very badly with our food, the staff and price. Will definitely be returning!

ordered the rowdy burger and fries the fries were under cooked the burger burger no flavor to it service was really slow. asked for fries that were a little better cooked and they were the same as before. the waitress waitress was not really friendly. i will not be going back as to seeing food from a freind got burned breaded mushrooms. and the other was the chessey hasbrowns were not looking that great either.

good food and good service always enjoy eating here one the few places around you can get mountain oysters the service is always great
