Great experience. This place changed ownership awhile ago. Really stepped it up a notch. Food is very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. Would definitely come back again.

This is the third time we have eaten here. Have always had a good experience. Dining area has an outdoor theme, i.e. you are eating on patio tables but well done. EXCELLENT food. First time here was for catered anniversary party. Second time had the chicken fried steak (real breaded steak that was 1/4-1/2" thick), mashed potatoes and a gravy boat of sawmill gravy. Tonight had the ribeye, twice baked potato and salad bar. Steak was perfectly done (medium) and hot. Highly recommend the salad bar (in itself a meal).Table next to us ordered the prime rib (I am assuming that it was the large because it was the size of a medium roast (no kidding).Highly recommend this place, a real hidden treasure of a restaurant.One more thing, this is not a Chinese restaurant.

CLOSED. We drove several miles out of our way, towing a boat, through a residential area and a bunch of road construction, to find out that this place no longer serves dinner. Hey jerks, take down your ads!

Awful! I figured this was a nice a restraunt due to it being a catering company and the large sign always displaying prime rib specials friday and saturday. I was WRONG. I had friends in town and made a reservation for a party of 8. It took us aproximately an hour and fifteen minutes to recieve our food after ordering. The steaks for who ordered were awful. No one's was cooked how it was ordered and the steaks were of very low quality. Service was awful we could not get refill on our drinks and there drink menu they provide they do not offer most of the wines and beers listed on it. Will not be returning.

The absolute best meal you can find in Hays, KS! Portion sizes are huge and you will need to share or get a box but don't let that stop you from ordering the fried green beans as a starter, delicious!
