Rocky Mountain Truck Centers - Newton

I've had my truck worked on twice at this location. Both times had drama and rework before accepting invoice. They made it right but hey...I haven't been back. GOOD NEWS! It seems management has cleaned house with all new employees. Two days ago the new shop I am using had difficulty tracking down a damaged part that was part of an assembly replaced 20 months ago at Rocky Mountain. Not defective mind you, it got damaged while underway, my fault. I called Rocky Mountain Truck Center in Newton KS near closing time and got the 24hr call center, they put me through to "Brian's" personal phone as he was locking up the shop. I explained my situation to him and all I had for him was my name, phone number, VIN and roughly when and what. He said he wasn't sure but he'd look into it and get back to me. (Silently under my breath I'm thinking "yeah right", I may have made a snide remark) I explained the urgency as my truck had been in the shop for three days and my mechanic had been chasing the part for two of those days. To my utter dismay Brian called me back in less that 5 minutes with the assembly part number Rock Mountain installed a year ago April, INCREDIBLE! I immediately texted that part number to my mechanic (5:00 PM local) my truck was finished the following morning at 10:30 and was rolling with a new load at 15:00. As owner operators this is the kind of service we expect! The last couple of years we have reluctantly learned to live with service dealt us. we used this place for road service to repair a semi tire, we were less than 12 miles from their shop, it was an outside drive tire with a nail, the total bill was over$880 , i would strongly look elsewhere for a place to get repairs

Very bad company to work for cut hours over work you under pay doest treat there techs right always living to there techs

Do not work for this company they have you work lots of hours but don't pay you correctly. My husband worked 3 almost 24hr shift when he first started and they never paid him correctly for them they just made the excuse that they fired the guy responsible. Dispatch is a joke half the time and the head Devin is rude and incompetent for the position as he can't even do the job himself so how does he know what it takes. This company is junk. Having to go to labor board and osha at this point. They wonder why they have high turn over um it's your company not the workers.
