How good is Rocket Inn? Special road trip two hours out of the way good. It's "real Nebraska" pizza, cut into rectangles with a mozzarella and cheddar cheese mix. Everything comes together perfectly. The crispy crust with the sauce, the vegetable and meat choices. The restaurant is located in Indianola, Nebraska, population 600, right off of highway 34. It's a lot of fun to take 34 through the state instead of 80, in particular because you'll find gems like Rocket along the way.Rocket Inn would be a go-to pizza in any city in the country, and deserves national recognition.

This pizza is one of a kind! You have to try it. They ship all over the world. Their pizzas are served on rectangle trays and you always get an edge piece which I like!!! Their pizzas vary in topping but they have baked in so much flavor and they do not skimp on the topping where you get your money's worth. It is one of those places that of you want an experience on your way through town. You need to go.

Love at first bite. Get the Combination Pizza, large, with kraut. Use a little bit of hot sauce for it...gobble it up, wash down with a beverage.This has been a local favorite since I was a kid living in Culbertson, NE...just a fun, relaxed down home place to go and eat. It's really a destination place...if you are travelling, just take the time to stop and enjoy!

On a Friday night, the Rocket Inn is likely the most hoppin' place in the small town of Indianola. The decor probably hasn't changed in years, but that kinda adds to the good vibe of the place. It felt homey, kind of like walking into a large fellowship hall at a country church. Before hand, my dinner party informed me of the rectangle shaped slices, as well as the sauerkraut that NEEEDED to be put on top of each slice to get the full experience. We ordered four pizzas, and that was just about the right amount to feed the 10 of us. The pizza was pretty good. I enjoyed the crust, which is always important! I hear they have great food besides pizza, too. Great place!

Best pizza in the state to bad I only get home once a year. Special with kraut is the way to go. Been gone from Indianola for 26 years. Still stop and eat there every time I go back. That is one place where every body does know your name. And don't forget the hot sauce and Budweiser.

They have been closed close to a year. For a while they made take and make sold in McCook but that also ended a couple weeks ago. Very sad since I have been eating rocket pizza for at least 55 years.

We have been going to Rocket Inn for pizza for over 50 years. Last night we made the trip there when we found out it was finally open. We have never had a bad pizza until last night. We ordered 3 pizzas. They were out of green peppers so we told her to just put extra pepperoni on it. We got 7 pieces of pepperoni. I don't know what they have done to the famous recipe for this pizza but it is terrible It literally tasted like cardboard. So disappointing We will not be back and will let our family and friends to not bother going until someone else takes it over again!!!!

Poopy service, ordered an hour ago and got here before the table next to us and they received and ate all of their pizza and we still haven't gotten ours. Also took an hour to get a refill on mtn dew.

Every component of it is perfection & delicious.The crust is flaky & delicious, the meats are a good amount & the cheese is plentiful & as cheesy as you want your pizza to be. The additions of sauerkraut & the hot sauce which I find to be on the mild side but it gives the right amount of flavor. This pizza is so outstanding. I have never had any other pizza better than this. Soo worth the price if ordering online, trust me on this.From frozen: Bake it for 10 mins at 450 on a baking sheet then another 5 minutes on the rack. Be careful not to overcook, it bakes pretty fast at 450. PHENOMENAL PIZZA!!!

I ordered three pizzas after reading reviews about old family secret sauce. I found the sauce to be non-existent and the crust tasted like Pillsbury tube dough. I added the sauerkraut on top during the cooking time. It added zero flavor. The pizza had plenty of toppings, but WHERE IS THE SAUCE!
