Will not be coming here for a while. Used to love this place but it has gone downhill. Got the breakfast skillet and they put too much cheese I could barely see the eggs or sausage. Had to return it cuz they put too much gravy on top. For the price, I was disappointed. Kids didn't even like the cinnamon, too liquid icing. Service was okay. Just disappointed with the food.

Love the place but we won't be back. Any business that adds a 3% surcharge for using a credit card is off our list. IMHO credit cards charges are overhead and a cost of doing business like any other cost. Build the cost into your prices at forget about me. It's to bad, they have a great breakfast, but there are other places to eat.

Unsanitary and overpriced. Took my 4 kids to eat. One kids breakfast, one small alacart breakfast and it was $70. Black mold on ceiling.

I used to LOVE Riverside Cafe when it was still in Riverside. It was always nice, clean, and delicious. This... was not. It shouldn't even be allowed to use the same name. The omelet I ordered was flat and covered in oil. I could only stand to eat 3 bites. The waitress didn't notice and I paid for the whole thing. The place was also filthy. Top to bottom. It's evident they don't care about this establishment. The nail in the coffin was the guy checking people out to pay. Rude beyond rude. So sad. This was a Wichita gem!

I met family here for lunch while I was in town. It is just a little spot on the west side, in a strip mall. It is a no frills kind of cafe with mismatched plates and friendly service. The adults all ordered sandwiches and my nephew decided on a pancake. The pancake was the size of the plate. He is seven and ate the whole thing, a winning endorsement from that little dude. I had the chicken philly cheesesteak with fries. The fries are made from actual potatoes and have that homemade quality to them. They were good, but I prefer a bit of a crispier exterior. They also have tots, which I would try the next time. The sandwich was tasty. Chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese on a soft hoagie bun. It had really good flavor and the chicken wasn't overcooked. The prices were good and everyone left full and happy.

It wasn't at all busy when we went, with about 3/4 of the restaurant empty, but service was extremely slow. My husband's burger was bland, my sandwich was certainly nothing special, and the fries were somehow both soggy with grease and undercooked.

Cracker Barrel, it is not. It's OK but ...How does a server deliver food, burn their hand on the plate and yet ... the meat loaf was hot, the corn was a little cooler, and the mashed potatoes were cold? The butterscotch pie was good but not like grandma used to make.It's noisy but that's understandable.Staff is friendly but HOW are potatoes served cold?

We left without our food after waiting an hour. Several other customers walked out too. The restaurant continued to receive takeout orders which were prioritized over customers waiting. Our waitress was nice but the staff running the kitchen and register struggled, the gal behind the cash register yelled about an order she was struggling to fill. Terrible ambiance.Wishing we had gone to the Easy Egg instead. We were giving this spot a second chance, we will not return.
