Rico's Tacos El Torito

Best burrito I've had in my life and trust me I've had many burritos from many different states, cities, and taquerias.

The bus is on the corner of 21st and Broadway. I found it on a Friday night.Barbacoa. Asada. Al pastor. Chicarones.Double-wrapped in corn tortillas, served with some lime wedges, warmed radish halves, grilled onions on the side, and a whole grilled jalapeno. You get a little cup of the poblano crema salsa that's popular in those parts.Best Mexican food I've had in Wichita.

By far top 3 in Wichita for tacos , the parking lot can be a bit sketchy sometimes it once you start to eat those delicious tacos you will forget about it .

Visiting Wichita from LA this was the closest thing to real Mexican food I could find. Carne asada is a little salty and it's definitely more greasy than you would find in LA but does the job compared to fast food Mexican chains. $1.75 for tacos and $5 for burritos.

Their tacos might be the bomb. But their steak burritos are horrible. And I'm not THAT picky when it comes to burritos. But this one consisted of overcooked meat, mostly rice, way too greasy(almost see-through) tortilla, and watery salsas. The creamy green salsa has potential, but it was too thin. Like it was watered-down. The only redeeming part of the burrito I had was that it came with grilled onions, a roasted jalapeno, and a slice of radish. During my visit to the bus station, I bought a steak burrito from this truck, and one from the Los Dos Costas truck. I think I'll stick with Los Dos Costas' burritos. And I don't like radishes.

Oh my d*mn, the ONLY taco truck worth hunting down in ICT.Rico's is usually camped out at 21st and Broadway in a parking/outdoor market area on the corner. I've had chicken tacos, pork tacos, beef tacos, and a pork burrito. All of them have been fantastic. However my all time fave are the Al Pastor tacos and burrito. It's slow cooked pork with pineapple and it is sooo tasty. Not too sweet and seasoned well. You also get a grilled jalapeno, radishes, cilantro, and onion to go with your tacos. MMM, just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Every single person I have taken to Rico's absolutely loved it.Bring your friends, family, and cash.Do not miss this.

I love the tacos. The chicarones are excellent. Al pastor and asada are also delicious. I've had a chicken burrito, barbacoa... I've never been disappointed for stopping by, except when I found them closed!
