We have used Rick's Appliance Service a few times. Very pleasant and professional technician, always do a great job, and the price is the most reasonable than any other service we've used in the past. We've had the same service guy at our house a few times and he has a lot of experience. He knows what to do and gets right to work.

We called to get a second opinion on our washer that's been out for my grandma (who's about to have total knee surgery and can't be driving to a laundromat), they scheduled us a diagnostic appointment next day. Steven came out and was so nice and thorough. 5 stars alone compared to the first repair guy that came out to look at it from a different company. He triple checked everything and showed me everything he did and explained it to me very well. The diagnostic appointment was $93 but considering he prevented us from dumping $ into a different company that didn't even figure out the correct problem, we're not upset. Both the guy on the phone and the guy that came out were so nice and helpful.

I called to have him come out and looked at an oven that was not working and the guy is a total jerk. I have something scheduled with him but I will be calling tomorrow and cancelling the service call. Too many reviews on this guy and I should've followed my instinct

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We were stuck with them for a service company because we have Wolf appliances. Their repairman Kim was rude, whiney, and grumpy each time he came to my home or spoke to me on the phone, for a repair. Spent nearly $1000 and will never use Rick's Appliance ever again. He destroyed a part he had just removed, when he had said himself that he doubted it was bad. Shady practices!

I would use negative review if I could. Worst experience ever! Don't use them! Where do I even start? It all started with a five minute service call to tell me my washing machine was no longer usable. Not his fault. A week and a half later, after the parts came in, he was able to make it back out. The repair man broke another part. Another part had to be ordered and he would return once the part was in. I was scheduled, for what I was in hoping to be the day I finally get my washing machine back, and I get a call the morning of saying the technician called in sick and it would be yet another week before they could come back out. He was able to return yet again and he broke yet another part. Another week and a half later, after the parts were all ordered and availability to come, he returned. Finally he was able to fix my washing machine. I highly doubt, at this point, his repairs will last. Do not use Rick's appliances! If they try and send Jacob out don't let them! Thankfully this was all covered warranty!

We originally had service scheduled on our dryer for it not heating, I even told them I thought it was the heating element. They came out and said they had to order a part and would call to schedule repair once it came in, it took 10 days to get them back out, when the tech came he said he didn't have the right tool to fix it and would have to reschedule, he took all the bolts for my dryer and didn't put it back together before leaving and told me I couldn't turn power back on to it. I was not satisfied with this as I had already waited 2 weeks for the repair to be done. I called and spoke to the GM who I told needed to have someone back out today as it should not be difficult to get the tool (Walmart sells them) and he told me this was my opinion (he was very rude), the tech finally came back out later in the day. I should not have had to wait around all day and be spoken to very rudely by both the GM and the tech over a tool that should've been easy to acquire, the tech should've never gone to another job until he had completed my repair it's very unprofessional. I will find a better company and pay for it next time instead of doing the warranty repair. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

The repair guy was absolutely rude!Had them out to look at my fridge and he couldn't figure out how to remove the control panel so he got frustrated and flung the fridge door putting a huge ding into it!Brand new fridge is still broke and now has a hideous ding in it!I'm not sure why Fridgaire even recommended these people!

While they were on time and resolved the problem, the $90 service call charge did not cover the 10 minute solution to the problem that required no parts and no tools other than a screwdriver. That costs another $35. He didn't even have a bucket to catch the water so I had to go get one for him from my garage. Maybe i should have charged him for the bucket. I'm glad it wasn't something serious because I might have had to mortgage my house. Suggest if you have to use them you stop them once they diagnose the issue and then fix it yourself. Better yet, use someone else.
