I have so many wonderful things to say about ReNew. While looking for hotels to stay in during my Wichita stay, I luckily came across ReNew. It become instantly clear that I must stay there. I booked for Monday-Friday and was very happy with the reasonable rate. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the spaciousness, modern style and cleanliness. Basic needs were also provided, including olive oil and laundry detergent, which was an amazing additional touch. It felt like I was walking into a friend's apartment that let me stay over, which provided a sense of home. I felt comfortable and happy for my stay, always looking forward to returning for the evening. Travel plans changed and ended up extending my stay. I emailed customer service and Faye helped me at 11pm to book for a few more nights. I was highly impressed by the generosity. Customer service was extremely helpful each time I contacted them, which added to the lovely experience. Overall I can't say enough nice things about my stay here. Thank you for providing such an amazing experience!

If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS. Lived here for 2 years and left the place spotless. I paid through the end of November even though I physically moved out October 9th. They quickly re-leased the unit therefore were paid DOUBLE rent on it. After 30 days I received a bill from them with blurry pictures of "damage." I disputed the charge and demanded a refund of my deposit in addition to the doubled rent. Nicole Beckerman, the manager there, is HORRIBLE. She stated numerous times she would get it resolved "today" and then went silent for multiple weeks. It was not until I threatened legal action that I was refunded the money I was owed. ReNew is now continuing to send bills to myself for the amount after THEY PAID ME already!!! They are sending the BILL to collections and Nicole is SILENT yet again. I will be taking personal legal action against them. BEWARE DO NOT MOVE IN. NIGHTMARE COMPANY..

We have lived here for a few months now I really love it! The staff is polite and helpful as well as courteous of our privacy. We have the most gorgeous apartment here filled with unique historical charm. I feel safe in the garage now that there's a gate on them. The amenities are pretty nice, especially the rooftop lounge and pool.

There is no parking available at all. Long waiting list for parking. Website says parking available. No security cameras in the parking garage. No cameras in the hallways. Stained carpets everywhere. No peepholes in most apartment doors. Parking garage easily accessible to hordes of homeless people roaming the area.Apartments themself are good inside. Nice day light. Minor issues like oven not clean at the time of taking the apartment, commode smallest size available in history.Apartment has only one maintainence person. Per management they can't find assistant to him. Front office two people, especially the lady are very nice. The lounge is great, nice game.Location is great for students in the new osteopathic medical school which is just across the street. However, surround area is completely deserted at all times. Only homes less people roaming the streets. These apts would be great if 1. Parking situation improved.2. security cameras in garage and hallways.3. External contractor hired to clean carpets, clean stairways at least once to begin with.RegardsMP

Let's get this list started. Reasons why we are moving out and never referring a single person to this building. This place has become a dumpThe grounds are disgusting there are cigarettes all over patio and in stairwell (keep in mind non smoking areas)The "luxury spa like" pool is trashed in the summer time because they don't have anyone clean on the weekendsThe grills are all broken and in horrible shapeDog park is constantly disgusting causing me to spend hundreds in vet billsWe used to have valet but due to inability to keep the building even remotely occupied they fired valet and charge an obscene amount of money for parking for a building you already pay to live in. $100 for first car $150 per after so if you have a three bedroom you and your roommates will be paying $400 to park in your garage. And if someone parks in your spot it's your responsibility to get with a tow truck company to deal with it What a joke - and these garages are littered with trash. Now onto units themselves, the walls are. paper thin and you can hear anything next doorThere are a ton of Airbnb's in the building, usually these guests are loud and disrespectful. Nothing can be done because there is no after hrs people onsite to monitor anything. Safety issues we've had in the last year cars get broken into in the garage A friend of mines truck was stolen from inside the buildingMaintenance man had a box knife pulled on him inside the building by a homeless man who got itMail room is usually full of packages and things are stolen and left and renew claims it's not there responsibility for any of this. This company is operating with out a license, constantly just tags random fees on to your accountCheck BBB STATUSThe lounge that we pay in our amenities package, you have to pay to rent if you want to use it.What used to be a nice luxury apartment downtown has taken a turn for the worst and with very low occupancy of the building it's not going to get any better. Stay away from this building don't get stuck here.

Cannot move out fast enough. Office staff is non-responsive to maintenance requests, trash is rarely picked up, common areas are not regularly cleaned, elevators are frequently broken, cockroaches in residence and common areas, fire alarms and building alarm routinely go off. All calls, are directed to an offsite call center, unless you are inquiring about a new lease. Front office door is often locked during business hours. Extremely impersonal. Save yourself the money, time, and peace of mind. Do not live here.

The 12 months of living at Renew was the most consistently pissed off I have ever been. My list of dislikes: Dogs CONSTANTLY barking through the paper thin walls at all hours of the day and night. People screaming, fighting (like domestic abuse type of fighting), and blasting music at all hours of the day and night. Dog poop in the halls, elevators, common areas, which was not uncommon to see multiple times a week or even daily. VOMIT in the halls, elevators, common areas occasionally. Beer bottles scattered everywhere on sunday mornings. Random surges in utility costs (which I always expected was the building trying to make a profit off utilities. Blatant broad daylight drug deals in front of the building and in the building. Constantly broken garage door gate. Graffiti on walls and in the elevator. Cars broken into and damaged vehicles parked on the street (my side mirror was ripped off). My bike got stolen from inside the building. Homeless people constantly harassing and screaming at people entering and leaving the builds. The people managing this building don't cool the top floors in the summer so it's 85 degrees in the halls for the entire summer and don't heat the bottom floors in the winter so it's 40 degrees in the hallways (I assume they don't want to cool/heat these floors to save money so living on the top floor was miserable for MONTHS in the summer and shows that this building rather make their tenants miserable than pay for heating/cooling). I was charged $60 after moving out for "dirty carpet" and these people had the god damn nuts to attach a picture of a piece of tape that was sitting on the carpet from a moving box (I had thoroughly cleaned/vacuumed the carpet so it was spotless and they charged me $60 for a piece of tape... as well as another couple hundred dollars for various other things). I was required to stay for another 2+ weeks because my 49 day notice of moving out was not the required 60 day notice and they did not compromise at all (luckily my next and MUCH BETTER apartment building did not mind moving my lease start date back a couple weeks so that I was not paying for two apartments at once... because they are decent people). Overall, the people who manage Renew are going to run this place into the ground. This place was ungodly miserable to live in EVERY SINGLE DAY and it was blatantly obvious that they were trying to save on operating costs (I assume because they can't keep tenants for more than a year and always have many vacant units and people are constantly moving out) but they did not mind taking money from their tenants as often as possible. I met some of the nicest people in the elevator who had lived there for years, but always told me how frustrated they were because it's gone so down hill and they were planning on moving out. Unfortunately, I never was around for the "good old days" of renew and only got to experience the garbage that it is today. It is also unfortunate that these very nice people who had lived in Renew for years were forced to share an apartment building and it's common areas with some of the most disgusting college kids (and I am a relatively recent grad myself). These kids did not take care of anything and always left trash in the hall, vomit, and even USED bloody female products in the elevator... which sat there for an entire day. I moved out of Renew for all of the above reasons and the fact that the cost to live here is not remotely what it's worth. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who still lives there and has to deal with the BS. My list of likes: Nice refrigerator and interior lighting... and if you like piles of shit, this is your place!

I don't live in these apartments, but I am downtown everyday. I see dog poop often in front of this apartment building. The property management should keep an eye on this. Can people or businesses be fined for this? It's a health hazard. I will say, I do see dog feces on the sidewalks a lot downtown and sometimes people scrap their shoes in the planters too. Disgusting!

I have been living here for almost 1.5 years now. When I first moved in the building was beautiful - super clean, great staff and amenities. I was excited and happy to live here. Within the last 6-9 months however there has been a drastic decline in the living conditions for what is meant to be a "luxury building". Some key things to note are:1. The building used to have valet parking which was seen as a key amenity as compared to other apartment buildings in the area. This amenity was removed quite suddenly and the change was done so with utter disorganization. Residents are now responsible for calling a tow company is someone improperly parks in their assigned spot. Not to mention the garages are poorly lit and also not secure to outside foot traffic (As the building is quite close to a homeless shelter this is not comforting).2. The hallways and "amenities" are not well-maintained AND there are recently many cockroaches both dead and alive in the common areas. I am beyond disgusted to have to write this. As someone who lived in big cities like New York and San Francisco where such pests are more common I never had to deal with such disgusting conditions. It is the point where I am nervous to bring packages that were in the hallway into my apartment.3. As noted in other reviews the walls are paper thin. There are many Airbnb apartments in this building which are often people who are partying and playing music loudly. Oftentimes I am unable to sleep throughout the weekend as it is so loud and security sometimes doesn't even bother to show up when you call.I am really sad to have to write this review but the cockroaches really pushed it over the line for me. If lease break fees were not so excessive I would move out. I do not recommend living here. I am only giving the building 2 stars instead of 0 as it is close to bars and restaurants.
