I've been going to Renee's off and on since they first opened back between 2000-2002.It's the perfect hangover food for those ungodly early morning hours, better than McDonalds, Dennys or IHOP. My favorite item is the Colorado burrito. The beef can be a bit tough and chewy, and I personally don't like the large volume of beef in it. So I always do something taboo. I take it home, unroll it, collect all the meat, throw out the toughest parts, then mince the rest up pretty finely. I'll then combine the beef back with the rest of the burrito filling, skillet fry it for a couple minutes. Roll it back up in the flour tortilla, and skillet fry the burrito on each side for about 30 seconds. This may seem odd, but it takes any issues the Colorado burrito has, and turns it from a 7/10 to a 10/10. Very much worth 10 minutes of my time.

It's pretty good, I've only had 1 issue the whole time I've been going there and it's just when they forget something like a drink or burrito. I always make sure I got everything but they only forgot my drink once. Staff really isn't talkative but they've never been mean or disrespectful to me.

Drive through service was top notch and fast as usual. Colorado Burrito and the chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito are my favorites. The green sauce is the best but the red sauce will light you up.
