Regency Inn and Suites

It is the old Extra Inn remodeled. Motel units doors facing the parking lot. I believed I was making reservations directly with them since http had their name & location. Reservation was for 79.99 I received credit card receipt online and it was $129.99! 61% in taxes and fees. Motel said it was out of their hands. I called toll free number on receipt and said the reservations said NOTHING about these fees. She put me on hold and said they would credit $7????? No I disputed full charge on my VISA. Also the motel's bed was super hard, the old AC unit came off & on every 10 minutes so we didn't get any sleep. You can only put so much paint on the wall. This is a old MOTEL! I wouldn't pay $5 if you can't get sleep! And their doing upcharges on their partner reservations sites!! Shouldn't need to be deceptive to your guests.

My coworker & I stayed here for 3 nights... it's a bit outdated but everything was really clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a nice laundry room. The staff was very nice & helpful. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in town next year for the Farm Show!

Meh. Adequate. Unimpressive. Available. Not entirely spotless (they don't change the pillowcases all that often).

This is a nice simple comfortable place. The room was clean & well appointed. Hotel staff was friendly.

Hands down the most disgusting hotel in which I've ever stayed. Musty smell and bugs aside after staying multiple nights they didn't once change the yellow-stained sheets. I can summarize my room in one word -- yuck.

Clean, comfortable and a real bargain. Being pleasantly surprised in Pittsburg, KS is a rarity and it's nice to see that there are still people who can step up and make sure that their guests are taken care of.

I have been staying here for 3 weeks for work I have no complaints friendly staff great weekly rates has decent size fridge a big TV clean and comfortable I would definitely recommend this place

Small beds. The door would not stay locked at night and our keys would not work after the first night locking some people out.

My girlfriend & I have stayed at the Extra Inn which is now the Regency Inn & Suites every time we visited her family in Pittsburg Ks. for the past 4 years. Originally it was a great place to stay but lately that has changed drastically! We always stay in the handicapped room. this time we were there from 7-10-14 thru 7-17-14. We noticed shortly after getting there that when we woke up in the morning there were small blood spots on the pillow cases. 1st my girlfriend found them on her pillow case then the next morning I started seeing them on mine as well. We took pictures & told the owner's wife about it. She said it could be "bed bugs" She immediately had the staff change the bedding, but it did no good!A day or 2 before we left my girlfriend woke up & I found 2 sores on her back. She showed them to the owner's wife & the owner's wife took pictures of them with her own camera. When we got home we went to see the doctor & were told that my girlfriend now has "Impetigo"! Impetigo is extremely contagious. We both believe that we got both the Bed Bugs & Impetigo from the Pittsburg Ks. Regency Inn & Suites!!!! Everyone else in town except for Holiday Lodge is more expensive but it would be better to spend more money & have a shorter visit than to go through all of this. Good Luck & BEWARE!!!!
